I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere, but in case you guys have not noticed yourselves.

They have removed the "Guaranteed to Land" part of it's proc.

It now only makes your attacks guaranteed crits. So no more poison procs on every single auto swing/special.... Plus all your attacks can miss or be dodged/parried/blocked now. So if you have something better to do on your last 5.4 pandaland weekend I suggest you do so. This dagger does not seem worth it anymore.

Who cares for the guaranteed to land, it's not like you miss often in pvp... ok the poison thing nice bonus. Poisons aren't as strong anymore if i'm not mistaken. The dps was 40 before while end game weapon were 70. This was a huge set back. Now it's 25 vs 27. Negligeable. Don't think how great it once was (up to wotlk), look at it with a fresh perspective as it is right now. With the crits % around 22-25 if you are really well geared, as low as you'll ever see. A proc that gives 75% critical, read : 1050 critical rating... is godlike. This proc very often, 4-5 times per minute. Run the numbers, that's like having a permanent 18% crit. If you play well and capitalize on the procs, it's even better than that. Since you can run with like 150-170 energy now, you can literally dump your energy when it proc. Mutix2 for instance.

Well they removed hit, I guess they found it unfair that there would be an item left that guaranteed hits.

Then again they did leave an enchant left with hit on it :x

It did work though, not sure if it still does. Last time I tested it was at 5.3 or something?

Nature resist gear against a shammie, he hit me for almost 70% less.
