A few warrior questions

I haven't seen this confirmed yet. But does shield spike proc ele force? Also, I herd str scales horribly with shield slam. But what about heroic strike and thunder clap? Speaking of heroic strike. The tooltip says it causes more damage when an off hand is equipped. Does a shield count as that?

But what about heroic strike

stre ≈ crit

and thunder clap?

stre > crit

because heroic strike is based off weapon damage while thunder clap scales directly with AP
