And pray tell, what "scam" would that be? I have never felt "scammed" by Blizzard. In what way did they "scam" you? It is right in their EULA concerning maintenance.
Life is much better when you have a positive outlook. You really should start looking at half full cups not half empty ones. Or in your case, pizza that more than just cheese. Not, "but only half of the pizza is supreme".

Still never heard what "scam" that was.
Now, there are two definitions of "scam". One being a verb and one being a noun. I will quote both of them for you.
Noun 1. scam - a fraudulent business scheme
Verb 1. scam - deprive of by deceit

Neither one of those describe the 12 hour maintenance cycle. While it is rather lame of Blizzard to deprive it's paying customers the use of it's service for an entire half of a day( your TV service provider would not do that for "maintenance" for example). We all agreed to it in the EULA. So we have to just suck it up.

Dude they had long maintenance when they do ladder reset in diablo 2 and warcraft 3 and people we're crying back then even cause oh no every 6 months they do a 12 hour maintenance my world is ended /slit wrist.. Go outside experience life outside of your home for once. Blizzard gives you that chance seing as alot of people are addicted to their games.

Now on to the matter at hand, we can expect many many more of the long long maintenance cycles leading up to the release of Warlords. As Saint mentioned earlier, "If you can't go 12hours WoWless without raging on a forum, being without wow for 12hours is the least of your problems". There are many step programs available to help people wean themselves off of being video game addicts. The first program was created in 1994 I believe. No doubt there have been many improvements since then.
