Miscellaneous suggestions for the rules of future tournaments...

Hey,

I think there should be more twink tournaments (or at least organized premades).

That being said, I think there needs to be some rules on comp restrictions. Below are the start of a list of new rules for teams in future tournaments. Let me know what you think.

-No tanking specializations allowed of any kind
-No class stacking of SAME spec (1 resto, 1 feral allowed)
-Teams must have same number of melee as they do ranged dps, rogues do not count as a melee
-Every team MUST have a rogue
-Every DPS on each team must have a minimum of 2000 hitpoints (as to reduce damage and increase survivability)

People won't be interested in those rules I reckon, sure you could challenge people yourself or make your own tournament, but I doubt many will want to play by those rules.

Sounds like alot of rules making it abit to hmms. ofc. if there are no other tournaments i might join in. but i think there are better options.

I wouldn't mind trying different setups for premades, who knows maybe its the golden formula for premades no1 ever thought about, or maybe not, but try it ^^
(Who wouldn't wanna watch another TSN stream) ^^

This is a good initiative mate ! Unfortunately, some of these rules are too much restrictive :/

1) No tank spec allowed would imply only resto druid FC or maybe windwalker monk because of their mobility.
2) No class stacking, that would imply everyone play of the 10 class we have at 19s that's technically hard to manage. But accessible !
3) That mean everyone play almost same comp except if they want to role SP / enhance / ret etc :/
4) agree on this one :)
5) might be cool but some melee class can't reach 2k without sacrificing shit tons of AP. But still doable !

Sounds like a fun idea. These rules would challenge teams to think outside the box and create a sort of match that really hasn't been seen. I do think it would promote suicidal rushes on EFC just due to the fact that tank specs are not allowed. Not sure what all the ramifications would be. Maybe feral druid becomes the de facto FC?

I feel like teams could easily come to agreements on rules limiting the strongest classes/specs for more interesting games.

The more premades the better. Let's try these rules if they don't fit the way we want we can change them. I'm down to play for any team that's wanting to premade pm me if you need me.

these rules are silly, cause the rogue will just 1 shot the non tank fc if u prevent prots, bm, or guardian from fcing. Cause everyone else is squishy. Also no one is gonna want to use unviable melee dps, and not many want to sacrifice dps for more hp.

Not without stacks.

And that's exactly the point, to prevent silly 20 minute turtle fests.

The ambush alone with zerker will drop him to 1/16 of his health, and then eviscerate before the healers can even react. If you just wanna have a game that goes nowhere cause the rogues just automatically kill the fc, fine. I think those rules are silly.

Since when do rogues ambush for 2-3k damage without stacks?

Since when will the fc have 3k hp as a ww?Bm monks can just hit in the middle of 3-4k. And if the rogue is smart, he will just sap spam priest until bubble wears off on efc then open on the efc. GG no re

Who is talking about WW monks? Feral druids have exactly the same amount of health as guardians, around 4k.

If we follow these rules, the fc will either be Feral Druid, Resto Druid, or WW Monk because of their mobility. If most people run with rdruid or ww, they will get wrecked early, yes sure feral may have 4k, but they dont have the same defensive bonuses, so it may take a couple stacks, but then they will soon after get wrecked. No matter what people use following these rules, will die wayy before they even hit 10 stacks. You could say thats more fun than turtling, but it is unlikely for caps in this situation either.

The whole point is to make FCs easier to kill.

I'm just saying that your "the rogue will oneshot EFC at zero stacks regardless" is bullshit.
OP plays a rogue btw.
OP played mage for TSN, the more you know.
