Level 3 Warlock Advice

Darkchewie

2014 & 2015 TC Champion
So i've had my Level 3 lock since 2010.. haven't touched it in years however I am in the process of updating his gear/enchants and would like your opinion on the gear/enchant choices... so without further ado.

Gnome Ally Warlock - Herbing/Skinning

Helm - Tattered Dreadmist Mask

Neck - Voice Amplification Modulator

Shoulders - Tattered Dreadmist Mantle (14 sp 8 crit)

Back - Ancient Bloodmoon Cloak (10 Crit)

Chest - Tattered Dreadmist Robe (14 Stam)

Wrist - Ghostly Bracers (15 stam)

Gloves - Battle Worn Handguards (11 Hit)

Belt - Patchwork Belt

Pants - Tattered Dreadmist Leggings (38 SP 22 Stam)

Feet - Thin Cloth Shoes (8 Hit 8 Crit) & (Stam/Minor Speed)

Rings - Vanity

Trinkets - Double AGM & PVP Trinket

1 Hand - PvP Dagger (Elemental Force)

Offhand - Furbolg (6 Int)

Spellpower - 83
Haste - 2 (5.2%) (I pop Lifeblood immediately in duels so this isn't as important as hit/stam to me)
Hit - 19 (62.75%) (Dueling a lot of high levels)
Crit - 39 (76.05%)

Yeah the dread pirates are definitely something i'll be looking to get in the future. For now, I just wanna make sure that the enchants are BiS and I can't upgrade any other piece of gear.

In addition, i'm still not sure which weapon enchant is better or how much hit rating I really need.

Switched some enchants after doing some duels tonight. Definitely needed to stack more stam and add a little more hit. The only enchant i'm not too sure of is the 10 crit to cloak. However, if I swap that out my crit goes from 61 to 42.. which i do not think i can afford.

I think i'm unique :)

Heya!

I re read the post and noticed the gnome, sorry for the horde advice ^^

You should get Surefooted enchant for your boots - it gives 10 hit and 10 crit, 2 + 2 more than you have now. Also grab another boots and enchant it with +7 stamina +8% movement speed, as lock you could kite a bit and this would surely help you.

On top of 2x AGM I would get heirloom pvp trinket - sometimes release from CC is crucial, as you would eat more than 120 damage during it (like HoJ)

Your shoulder enchant is far from BiS; if you want to keep high stamina you can do it with Greater Inscription of Warding - Item - World of Warcraft, and 11 dodge would increase your survivability by a lot! Also, if you want to go more glass cannon there is Greater Inscription of Discipline - Item - World of Warcraft

Thanks for the help!

Surefooted is the 8 hit 8 crit that's already on my boots.. that's the best I can do.

I also already have a 2nd pair of boots with speed that I swap to depending on the situation.. like if i'm dueling against somebody where I don't need the extra hit. I have the heirloom PVP trinket as well!

I do plan on eventually swapping to the 11 stam/11 dodge, I just don't have the reputation with the aldor yet :/ I feel that going glass cannon is incorrect just due to the burstiness of low levels.. the more stam the better.

Isn't PvP power to cloak viable as well?

I had thought the same thing when the enchants first became available to us...but was told by several people several times that PvP power and resilience scale so horrible at low levels that they're worthless....so I never tested them.

I originally went with PvP power to cloak, however it showed 0% so I assumed it scaled awfully or just didn't work at all.
