Hi guys, I was listening to a rather old (woltk times) interview of a Chinese Gold Seller. He gave really insightful information about the gold selling industry, and explained the steps behind a typical purchase. I have never purchased gold, but it was still pretty cool to see how it works.
However, this is not the reason I made the thread. He was very generous to share some information as to how the majority of gold sellers/hackers get their hands on your personal account. I know that maybe for some this might sound obvious, but it was not for me and I never really thought about it.
I remember last year there was a very big problem about twinks from Twinkinfo getting hacked and losing accounts/items/leveling up, so this might have been related.
I know how much everyone loves their mains, twinks, gold, and vanity items, so please have a listen. I know its a long interview, but it is very interesting. At least skip to 32:04 (to 35:10), he explains how professional Chinese account hackers get their hands on your account.

TL;DR
Based on the interviewee (the king of chinese gold sellers), information given out on WoW fan-base website (such as Twinkinfo.com) is liable to get stolen by chinese hackers, so please PLEASE be smart about using the same information you use for your WoW account.
He makes it an extremely blunt point by saying that if your info (log in e-mail, password) is the same on Twinkinfo and WoW, you are already screwed. Either your account is being "cleaned" as we speak, or is in queue.
Do not underestimate Chinese hackers. Do the right thing.
