False information, Plus ive had these names for a long time so that's no problem
That's not true afaik. A friend of mine got the name Sam by asking a GM to free up the name, the GM did it and he simply name changed instantly.
Yeah because he free'd up the name on an inactive account. Which then made it up for grab for everyone - same rules dosnt apply with a character that's been named nodoka for X or Y days
Nowadays if you would have the Nodoka on let's say argent dawn and then I delete it. That name is locked to my account for X days I tried this yesterday with a irl friend.
Yeah, that's true. The account has to be inactive so when you press on the character on the armory it says "Character hasn't been active for long time blablabla"
Double check it anyway. I had the name my friend wanted, I deleted the character, name wasn't cleared, we called Blizzard, that'a what was said.
And as Nodoka said, having them clear up a name from an inactive account is different.
And that pretty much means the buyer may or may not be able to use the name he just bought.
Which in my eyes makes this a scetchy purchase
