possibly game breaking for f2p (wod)

I'm fairly sure, that if they go through with this enchant, the mats will be from disenchanting lvl 100 greens, in which we won't be able to disenchant because it will probably require a high profession lvl in enchanting. It sounds neat, though. But not really game breaking, as all the other p2ps will have this enchant on them as well, or even different ring enchants. Pretty cool though, I sure hope there's many different ways to get this mat!

I just noticed something on the WoD Beta. Dread Pirate Ring has zero stats, It only gives rep bonus, Checked other heirlooms on Wowhead, samething... Old school style twinking may be back. Just what everyone has been clamoring for!!!
Examples below...

Burnished Helm of Might - Item - World of Warcraft
Mystical Vest of Elements - Item - World of Warcraft
Aged Pauldrons of The Five Thunders - Item - World of Warcraft
Although, it could be that way because of way the gear will work with spec changes.

Stained Shadowcraft Cap - Item - World of Warcraft

Possible bug, we'll see.

That is what your Sugar Daddy/Mama toon is for. To provide these items to your twink. Just the Pandaren enchants require an upper level toon.

I am 100% sure its a bug as they aint done with changing all the stats, if you have been following wowhead you would have noticed that sometimes they have stats and sometimes not, they change em all the time.

They will have stats, just think of a high lvl player loosing stats on like 5ish gear? Almost stats > expgain then imo.

As usual, you're a cesspool of misinformation. Wowhead is not a reliable source of information regarding WoD right now, especially when it comes to stats and numbers. I tried to tell you in the other thread repeatedly, you have to wait until 6.0 PTR comes out before you can start to get a solid frame of what's happening in 6.0.

Except that ring enchants are only useable by enchanters at level 300 or higher.

MOP ring enchants are for enchanters only, but so far there is no such restriction for WOD ring enchants nor will there be. All profession combat bonuses are removed for lvl 100 characters. Meaning ring enchants will be able to everyone. There is only 4 enchant-able slots in WOD for max level players with ilvl 600+ gear (cloak, ring, neck and weapon), it would make no sense for enchanters to get a monopoly on rings (huge combat bonus).

That very well may be the case come WoD, but those enchants will not be useable by lower level characters, and the ring enchants that ARE will only be useable by enchanters who have level 300+ enchanting.

They aren't going to remove profession perks for players below level 90 because they are largely irrelevant anyway. They will simply leave them in the game and make them non functional for players above a certain level on items above a certain ilvl.

You never give up do you? Even to the point of following me to another subforum. You really should be nice to people, karma will treat you much better. And your heart will enjoy the low blood pressure for a change.
Back to the subject at hand. Come World of Dreanor, ring enchants will be available regardless of professions.

Oh, and everyone should start "prepping", the beta is here.
Failing to plan is planning to fail. You would wouldn't want to fail, would you?...

I didn't follow you anywhere. I saw your convoluted and misleading post, so I responded. I would do that for anyone with such a terrible posting history as yourself.

You really should be nice to people

I'd be much nicer to you if you weren't so willfully ignorant and feeding people bad information.

You can't do much to prep right now. When the 6.0 PTR comes out, and everyone has access to it, then people can start to prep with 6.0 in mind. Hell, they'll even have 1-2 months to do whatever it is they need to do to get prepped for 6.0. The Beta is not the PTR, and the beta isn't even close to being what it will be when WoD launches.

Im hoping this will be an endgame feature.. Just like mastery is pretty up there in the lvl count

Quoted for emphasis about the PTR

Wow, two fans now from the 29's thread have come to berate me! I am truly flattered.

Surely the WoD enchants will be like MoP enchants. They will scale very very poorly for 60 and below. However, with us having no enchants available for necks and rings at the moment, something is better than nothing. We do not even know at the moment if MoP enchants can be put on scrolls. That is why I am picking up BoE necks. Just in case. If I waste a few hundred gold, no big deal, I am sure they can be resold.
Have have with WoD prepping. In fact, by reading this very thread, you are doing it.
