Have blizzard roleback it. It will work if you actually take your time with the support ticket and describe your issue in depths
 
Pretty sure there's been a bug since the deserter hotfix that forces you to turn xp on to arena/wargame. Tell em it's their fault for not fixing the bug. I don't play 70 so maybe I'm wrong, but it might be worth a try.
 
i had a 70 from BC, and somehow it was close to 71, when MOP rolled live blizzard turned on my XP without me knowing and i popped. immediatlely i did tickets. i was always polite and re-explained, as needed. i jumped on it right away before they would claim too much time had past.

went thru alot of blizzard GM's and escalated it to GM supervisors and customer service. they used canned responses many times unrelated to my ticket showing they do not read tickets or clearly understand or comprehend english with their outsourced GM's who deal with medical accounts, credit cards and road side assistance. you would believe this if you saw the answers i got...seriously

best part was that blizzard GM's and customer service flat out lied and said it could not be done.....note above where i said MOP rolled live

there were several players worldwide who popped 90 really fast that were rolled back, armories showed they hit 90, EU and US forums had threads of 90's who got rolled back, players no longer 90's wanting to know why, ex-90's having to contest de-leveling, other non-blizzard sites also had SS's, discussion and and armory links on their forums.

blizzard GM's continued to lie and said players could not be rolled back once leveled, when i referred them to samples from EU and US warcraft official forums/armories/achievements of it happening as i was trying to get my player fixed.....canned scenario response, not allowed to discuss actions being taken against other players

blizzard GM's also said they did not have the power to roll back players, this is actually a half truth/lie and deceptive answer. GM's can elevate the problem for consideration which i found out when i got past them

i kept pressing, made it past the lying blizzard GM's and GM supervisor's along with a honest admission, DEVs and programmer's can roll you back, but in my case they apologized and said they would not do it. they also told me to no longer continue reopening or starting new tickets on the subject.

you can try your luck with your 71, they didn't help me and it was their fault, i was not playing with XP on and off to do certain things.

imo, when the brackets go back to 70-79 for regular BGs in MOP, with gear squish +scaling will be less noticeable, players around 75-76 having a extra talent row at 75, plus abilities at 76+. along with a extra glyph may be serious OP vs a 70. the returning imbal the bracket. this could cause many 70's to no longer que random BGs causing a serious blow to the bracket.

there was a reason they split the brackets to begin with, because they could not balance 10 levels, just saying you are going back to 0x thru X9 with no info on balance appears to not fix anything, just a return to the problems they seem to forget they had on previous expacs

Thanks a lot for all the info. That's exactly what I thought they would say. If I had more time ahead of me I would try to put pressure on them even though I know the answer would be no because we need to show them that there is a population that play WoW almost only for twinking and they have to take it in consideration. We pay the 15$ afterall, don't we?

As for concerning this thread, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for me beside roll back. My guess is that I will let my druid lvl 71 just in case something happens in other patches or xpacs like the 74 bullshit thing where I could find use of my poor level 71
 
there have been some rare instances where players have dinged their 19's, 60's, and 70's, they created a new player got them to the same level, and got GM's to move gear from the blown twink to the new player. achieves, rep, etc would be lost.

i asked for that option if possible, had no luck there, but there are people on TI who have been successful at this method.

as for use of your 71, play it now in BGs as is, unless there is a killer talent at 72, do not go past 71. for arenas reroll another druid
 
but i dont want a real tbc experience! :( i want to be globallin' kids and keep thinking that i know how to play
 
Since i cannot create a thread in this forum yet and this might be the right thread for asking:

If I decide to lvl up my 70 toon to 90 will the 2.2k Enchanting scrolls remain in my inventory as I ding from 70 to 71 or will they be removed?

I remember a while ago when cataclysm hit i logged on my 19 twink that i havn't played in years and dinged 20 by exploring stormwind.
GMs are not intrested in helping you out with this issue unfortunately.

No trolling mon... just the mentality of majority of twinks. Current 70 is nowhere near how tbc was, i think its biggest fucking joke that i can kill disc priest from 100% to 0 through painsup during kidney. If they wanted a real tbc experience they wouldnt play 70 on retail they would play on one of the million private realms. And the way these dogshit prot paladins / rogues / disc priests who never broke 1.6k at max lvl keep running around in durotar with their 2.2k enchants thinking they know how to play....

Only possible if you did a recent appearance/faction/realm change before you dinged wich they can use as rollback point
 
I dont think blizzard helps people reduce level anymore. I accidentally gained some xp today in BT, when I realized i instantly HS'd out.

I wish I could do that haha..

But all my 70s are at 812999/813000 xp :p

I used to have a BC account and que in xp on bracket. That way you could stay 70 without leveling cause wotlk is requied for 71.

So when I went to SWP with xp, the first mob made me ding 71. It was quite a shock.
 
I accidentally dinged my shaman 71 once. I begged and pleaded with blizzard, nothing. Thankfully he wasn't too geared.
