Damage dumping methods

  • Hello!

Once again I come with some questions... Thanks to Chubbs I recently got really into my old lvl 1 rogue, put some gold into revitasiling her, got all needed enchants and a few looms.

Now I went to Booty Bay to test on Mok'Rash the Cleaver, who is my aim at the moment, and right now I managed to get him to 3,9k from his 6,6k before dying.

I used Lifeblood, AGM bubble, Minor Health Potion and bandaged myself to full health when AGMed. I know that I could also get Charged Crystal Focus for 2k heal, but I just ran out of them.

So, my question is: what can I use to survive longer in solos? There must be more ways to heal myself than these I've mentioned. Or maybe I'm missing something really important?

    Looking forward for answers,
    Crystal

    Kite more :)

A couple of heal items missed on there and a trick or two:

    1) Enriched Lasher Root - Doesn't share a CD with Minor Healing Potion, although it heals for a relatively minuscule amount
    2) Enchant Weapon Blood Draining - kinda gimmicky...but if you pop your AGM before 35%, you can switch to this weapon to build blood reserves. As soon as you come out, the next hit you take will activate them. Never tried doing this dual wield, maybe you'd get double the heal? The benefit of this is you can save your Runecloth Bandage for another time)
    3) Similarly, Lifeward, Mending, Battlemaster, & Crusader all have a heal mechanic. TBH I'm not sure which are RPPM and, with the exception of Crusader at 100HP, if their heals are scaled down to level 1 and / or by how much since 5.4
    3) Healthstones - DON'T FORGET YOUR HEALTHSTONES! (what my old raid leader used to yell at us) At 20%, they're our largest single heal besides the Charged Crystal Focus. The trick I use is to flip on my Furbolg Pouch before taking it so that you get that extra 20HP from it.
    4) Roll a Draenei for their heal, a Troll for the combat regen, or a Tauren for their Warstomp + Bandage

Other than that, just make sure you've got all the buffs you can get and get hit less...

at level 10 on a fury warrior mending seemed to proc slightly less then colossus and healed around 150 with 250-280 crits... i would assume it heals the same at level 1. i do not play level 1s so i cannot test it but i had them on battleworn thrashbladex2 and hadnt notice mending proc off the extra attack although that is from very minor testing and from a few duels... anyways good luck on the solo!

The more I'm thinking about it ... you might be better served (in addition to the above) by going Elemental Force in MH and Colossus in the OH ... since both are RPPM, and stack haste. EF gives you your dmg, and Colossus acts as a pocket Disc Priest
