Ok, in all seriousness though, I don't think the buff for enh is going to make a big difference. Would love it if it did, but that's not a size-able enough buff.

Edit: actually, without Water Shield, Earth Shock, or an SP boost from Mental Quickness, they likely will be in worse shape I fear.

On a bright note ret gets holy power from judgement now :)

Hardly, considering ret still needs 10 second atleast to build up TV (down from 13,)

And warriors have a much better slam and faster cd mortal strike and that is reduced by haste.

ret gets 30% damage from talent warrior gets 25%
rets damage is part holy, warrior is all physical.

ret needs only 4.5 sec per tv now since holy power from judgment.

cs,judge,racial,tv,cs,stun,judge,tv,cs,(2 sec downtime)judge,tv,cs

cs does 100% weapon damage so thats a total 400% from cs
3 judments.
3 tvs at 185% thats 555% weapon damage for total 955% over aprox 14 sec with the targets cc'd and unable to cast for almost all of it.

lets take a look at arms warriors -im going to disregard auto attack damage assuming both targets have same tot.
slam now hits for 130% at 15 rage

charge ,mortal . aa rage +18 that puts you at around 48

slam slam slam aa rage +18 slam ( at this point if you are geared haste you may have another mortal if not u got some down time and can't damage.)

mortal, slam aa rage +18 slam (4 sec more down time until around next mortal)

mortal aa rage +18 slam slam

so in about 14 sec here we get 8 slams for a total 1.04k weapon damage. plus three mortal strikes for 540% weapon damage

warrior= 1.58k% weapon damage .

ret = 955% weapon damage ( 5% more melee damage from racial then warrior brings them to approx 1.0275k %
plus 3 judgments

looking now i see that warrior will probably have more damage than a pally over a span of time. especially if he gets a lucky ms crit. and i am fine with that if warriors got out damaged they would be almost totally worthless compared to a paladin with superior tot and stuns.

i would say pallys and warriors are balanced compared to each other and would probably work very well together as well . warriors will be the strongest melee bursters in warlords with their execute, mortal, aa+18, execute hitting for a total 440 + 180 +100(from auto attack) =720% weapon damage

this has been breakfast with bend,
<3 until next time

Belf's racial is 2 min Cd, so it isn't always up. Nice try. And Warriors can bank for Execute and smash your face in, laughing at your TV's. Oh well, Rets make a decent heal drone. The only magic damage Rets will deal is judgment.

yes arms can use execute but if u look at the damage to rage energy ratio u will see that you will do more damage over all with slam .

15 rage for 130%
or
60 rage for 220%

from what i can tell the ideal play of arms will be that you will use slam until you think you can drop somebody into burstable range.

execute isn't really that much better than TV though execute is only 25% more weapon(220%) damage then rets tv ( 185% *1.05 because of stronger spec passive =194.25%)

warrior will for sure drop more damage on people over all then a ret paladin and will burst harder as well but the utility of a ret paladin will be very strong as well .

a warrior will drop a execute>mortal strike>execute when doing max burst in 3 sec if you follow that up with a belf racial and your melee hits the target with execute range you can drop another fat execute on them for the kill.

a paladin will drop a double templars and crusader judgement in its max burst. they can definitely rack up the damage but the burst of being able to drop 3 huge hits back to back to back will be only doable by arms warriors.

They dont wreck at max either, rets provide utility more than anything else. With battle fatigue going dodo and hp being more than doubled, i think rets will have a place on the field, more so than they do now. Now if only they could give us exo... As pretty as belves are, i'd rather play a spacegoat.

Oh right, on topic.

Shamans.... cool.

Elementals loses moving lightning bolt. And news from the new PTR build yesterday, earth shock... gone.
Might lower the level requirement for frost shock.

Sweetsidney ...

I'm not totaly sure if ret will have mega heals like they do now the formula for pally heals got kicked in the balls so it may be a tough to tell .

Ill do a healing version of my damage thread tonight so we can check out these numbers .
