I know games have been a little shaky at the moment. I’ve been severely sick over the past couple of days and unable to attend the early time. What annoys me is people like myself spend so much time getting 19s back into action when it just slips into the same position. We all fall off the continent because people have a few bad games, then overtime player representation slowly degrades.

But the thing that makes me angry more than most is Myrms willing to spend $1500 dollars for a tournament and instead of getting prepared we’re organizing premades in the 20-24 and f2p bracket. Don’t you think that’s a bit sad? Why aren’t we playing in our home bracket? We have all the time in the world to premade 24s and f2ps after the tournament. Let’s not spit on Myrm and ignore someone who loves this bracket. We need to at least make an effort. I know for a fact I’d be fuming if I set up a premade tournament worth $1500 to later see people wanting to play premades in other brackets. So, 24, f2p, and other bracket leaders, let’s all centralize around this tournament instead of flying off in every other direction. Start applying to Myrms thread. Skill Ratio will be attending, so expect some competition!. Let’s make this a big event to be remembered in twinking history!

We have a bright future. Skirmishes and the 10-19 merge are right around the corner. So let’s get back up and fight. I’m really not in the mood to create another Restoring 19s thread.


I will be making frequent 19 updates. I will also be making blogs and a General FAQ which is desperately needed for newer players.

In truth, I'm more looking forward to WoD for 19s than any tournament. I'm sure that many 19s appreciate Myrm and what he's doing, but realistically, I don't know if there can be enough activity within our bracket to have more than 2 full 10-player teams.

If there are more teams than that, than they'd be comprised primarily of undergeared, unskilled 19s who are in it only for the cash and will lose on their first round, only to leave the less shitty but equally unskilled team to be trampled by SR and whoever the challenging alliance elitist guild is going to be.

I'm not saying that most 19s are shitty - in fact, most 19s are really fucking awesome at WoW - but the term "most" typically applies to a literal 15-17 core 19 bracket members.

IMO, it would have been smarter to have hosted this tournament in wrath, or cata when 19s were very active... and it might also be wise to postpone the tourney until mid-WoD, when 19s will be making a major turnaround activity-wise.

Well I've heard that a good amount of teams are signing up for myrms tourney. Also about the 20-24 premades, there wasn't even that many that people were setting up. It was mostly due to there being guilds all set up in that bracket, while with 19s there's not really too many established guilds atm.

[MENTION=7002]Awesome[/MENTION] , judging from the amount of active guilds, there should be at least 5 teams, plus the numerous amounts that others will form for a shot at the prize. This tourny is a great way to increase activity and bracket awareness. It is still far away, and since it is a video game, people tend to put things off even further.

Hoping that near the end of June we will start to see more teams pop up. I myself will be submitting a team around that time.

Also, regarding Agonist's post, people just need to start queing at 8pm EST. It will take some time for each side to get balanced, but people just need to stick in there. Last night imo we had great ques, but they stopped unexpectedly early.

lack of certain classes and abundance of other ones (hunter) kinda making games stale often times. no one is gonna feel like sitting through enough games of the side theyre playing on getting rolled at the GY without heals, often feels like games r predominantly one sided each day, with one side winning many games in a row, people always gonna lose motivation. doesn't help when the half geared bads join and pull one side down either..

maybe the tourny will bring motivation back though, just seems like not enough opposite faction guild competition right now idk hard to say but its a combination of many things for sure.

To be fair, I don't think i can name one guild that has represented 10 or more different players from the same guild since queues have started popping, and this is the problem. Need people that want to compete!

I was just going off the obvious few. Such as Skill Ratio, Most Notorious, Underground, Warsong Warlords, and my own Medicinal. I do realize that most guilds have not been represented enough in the ques so far but closer to the tournament we should see more popping up.

IMO 24 activity shouldn't hurt 19s maybe even some of the 24 guilds will make 19s if they knew about this tourney. But who knows. The fall off could be cause of the NBA finials or the World Cup starting up. I for one can't wait to see this go down and I hope we get allot of teams.
