It depends on the gm i would say, and i think they only have logs backed to a year? gl either way

Its even less if the character is not at endgame. (they told me they have logs dating up to 6 months for my lvl 49).


In any case, like everyone is saying it will depend on the GM you get and whether or not he or she is willing to break a few rules.

With my previous experience with the glorious Game Masters, I can give you a personal and accurate answer. With the IMMENSE list of items that you've given them, every single item you add reduces the chance of them restoring any of your items. Who wants to help a kid restore 15 items which would take 2 minutes to restore per item... GM's are not magicians.

Instead of being greedy, you should have settled with restoring ONE item, instead of making a Xmas gift lift.

After losing all of my head and shoulder gear a while ago, i've decided to message a GM and hope for the best as far as a restore goes.

Here is what i said!

"Hello. At the beginning of MoP when the Void Storage vendor was introduced i placed alot of items of great value to me into the storage area, the items were valuable for the enchants that were on them. As you're aware, placing items into the Void Storage Bank removes all sockets, gems, transmogs and enchants from the items. At the time i put them in there, the vendor was brand new and my knowledge of the vendor and its purpose was acute as i believed it was just an additional place to store items like a characters normal bank except, at a price.


The items that we're placed into there and the enchants that we're removed from them are as follows:


[Lucky Fishing Hat] x1 Enchanted with;
[Lesser Arcanum of Constitution].


[Green Tinted Goggles] x11 Enchanted with;
[Arcanium of the Gladiator],
[Arcanum of the Defender],
[Arcanum of Ferocity],
[Arcanum of Fire Warding],
[Arcanum of Shadow Warding],
[Arcanum of Frost Warding],
[Arcanum of Nature Warding],
[Arcanum of Arcane Warding],
[Lesser Arcanum of Voracity] (8 Agility version),
[Lesser Arcanum of Rapidity]
and [Lesser Arcanum of Constitution].


[Scouting Spaulders] x2 Enchanted with;
[Fortitude of the Scourge]
and [Might of the Scourge].


[Feral Shoulder Pads] x1 Enchanted with;

Apart from the fact of blizz being blizz, always useless what do you think my chances are? Not high imo

Hey I had sort of a similar situation, but not to be negative or anything but the Gamemaster was nice and he told me that they themselves "Cannot" enchant items and mail/give/send etc to players regardless of what occurred. Even in my situation, it was the game masters fault for removing the Grandfathered enchant, and he apologized and said that he can only "mail" me that enchant, and it is up to the player to decide what to do with it. Hope this helped, and sorry to hear about this but maybe the policies have changed since then even though my situation occurred last year sometime.

Edit: chances wise, I'd say very low like 10% and that's if they can restore the items, but if they can't then there's really not much you can do

Blizzard are by far one of the worst bullshitters i have experianced. Back in Wotlk i looted the 1 handed axe "gutterblade" which had seem to become BIS for fury Wars in cata or something along these lines. I had deleted this item about about a year before cata as it was "green junk" and then later made a ticket about 6 months into cata to try and get blizz to restore it. I made about 10 tickets which they all said something along the lines of " it is impossible to recover, it is not longer in their data base and has been wiped from it" and that they can't track it etc. Then i came to the 11th GM who "checked" with his manager to see if he could go back into the data base and what do ya know he restored it as everything is apparently track-able, but the message i got from the GM was that they do offer "One time acceptions". So imo you just gotta keep nagging at them to help you etc because everything is possible for them, so it could really depend on what GM you get. It would probably help if you claim that you have heard GMs doing it for other players in the same circumstance.

Also Bullshit might help, im sure many of us know that Blizz have been real "anal" on quest item swaps in MOP making it become extremely difficult and impossible to swap and item, however i once made the mistake of choosing the wrong Signet for one of my twinks, so i made a bullshit ticket saying i have had an eye injury or some shit which i have had medication for which can sometimes fuck my vision making it blurry, so i made out that it was obvious i was not intending to choose the item and it was a clear mistake bla bla. It seems shady but if they do decide to deny you the restoration of your enchants, you could perhaps make some similar problem up that you had at the time or some shit along the same lines, i mean what have you got to loose worth a try for what you have up for grabs:O? I would literally try anything if i were you defiantly worth it!

i recommend you to start with asking for only one item and if they agree you should ask for more
