Assassination Rogue - Dancing Steel vs. Elemental Force.

I know this was a topic heavily covered a while back, but I've been going through all these old threads and I see that the players that were once saying "assys take 2x elemental force" are now (mostly) taking 2x dancing steel on their armories.

So I'm confused, is dancing steel better for assassination rogues now, or is it a preference thing?

Anyone mind educating me on this?

I prefer Elemental Force on my Rogue because it procs very often and it also procs on your throwing weapon or whatever it's called lol. But yeah, it's based on your personal preference, so maybe test out both if you can afford it and see for yourself

for my rogue I prefer dancing steel. It feel like its stronger, but to each their own

I use Dancing Steel and ive tried both, its about the same damage during the fight but in different ways, i would rather have the extra damage at the beggining of the fight instead of during the duration just for the sake of burst.

It's definitely preference but I prefer ele force for those procs off poisons O_O
Usually if you open on someone they do everything they can to get away from you. Even if you can't catch them, with assys+ele force, they're gonna die from dots
Those kills after death are so satisfying.
For pure burst, dancing is probably better.
