Good news for dungeon farming

Solipsist

They/Them
Thought this may be of interest to people:

  • Each World of Warcraft account can now create a maximum of 10 instances per hour (up from 5).

From the new hotfix

Hmm... Very interesting change. I wonder why this was just now implemented.
You can boost yourself if you have another high level toon on your account. It takes a little longer but you don't have to rely on other people for help. And now that there is 10 run limit it may be worth it.
At the moment, 20 scales so much better than 24 in a BG, although prepatch 6.0 may change that.

24s dont get the benefits of scaling so yeah ofc 20s are going to scale better

I am pretty damn sure the majority of the viewing audience knows what I meant. Since much of the gear is shared between 20 and 24 toons, on a level 20 the gear is more powerful in a battleground than it is for a 24.

That's interesting...Yolo's are still the best way to do Gnomer.

I've found that 20 only scales better for agility users (mainly hunters, not so sure about rogues). 24 is generally better than 20 for other classes due to gear/abilities.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm new and not allowed to make posts (for whatever reason). Anyways, on the topic of Gnomer farming: has it been confirmed who drops the two most coveted items (hotshots and caverndeep)?

I see a lot of people claiming that only Crowd Pummler can drop them, others say it can be him or the final boss guy, and still others say it can be any elite gnomer mob. Anyone know for sure? Or is it all still a mystery?

I'm at about 300 runs, and have seen every rare drop minus the boots and gloves. I'm going crazy, anyone able to shed some light on this for me? It would be much appreciated, thanks a lot!
