A Suggestion to Blizzard!

    • As the title says im am suggesting Blizzard something , i thought that by posting it here , many people would suggest it as well!
    Starter edition Accounts have alot of restrictions! And a gm once told me that it wasnt restricted back in the days , but it got because people were spaming etc!
    Now , my suggestion is : Blizzard leting us USE MAIL Twice or Once a month! It would be the coolest thing ever!
    What do you think about it ?

    Have you actally thought this threw, understood why blizzard gives access to trial accounts and why there's a 99% nothing will every come from a "community backed suggestion".

    Lel I know what this is about :D..... But I think that a good suggestion is to at least let us trade in Dungeon ques
     
    A completely stupid idea. Spammers would still spam. They'd just create multiple accounts and spam with them once a month, all in complete anonymity.

    A far more sensible idea would be to allow mail to alts on the same account. Of course what would Blizz get out of making F2P's lives easier? Absolutely nothing, so it's simply not going to happen.

    I'd try to tell the OP to think before he posts in future, but I think that's being a little too optimistic on my part.

    Language translator would never work since brazilians type almost everything wrong in their native language. It really hurts my eyes, and their bad typing skills was one of the reasons I left gallywix to play in a US server. GALLYWIX, STOP.PLAYING WOW AND GO TO SCHOOL!!!!

    You could state the same for many of their English speaking counterparts. But, that would be rather rude, wouldn't it?
     
    "Back in the day" trials used to be only a ew days and it did have many more restrictions than it has now. Before I subscribed in Vanilla, non-subscribtion accountion could only go to level five and could only get secondary professions. You could access mail, but thanks to farmers, Blizzard had to restrict mail, whispers, chat, etc.... Most of the trial restrictions are due to gold sellers and spammers, not because Blizzard wants to restrict future customer prospects.

    2. Absolutely no. Trade with other F2Ps - yes, F2P-only AH (will never happen) - yes, F2P only guilds (why am I even listing this) - yes. F2P to P2P interaction (trade, mail, Ah, guilds) - No.

    Will not happen. (And my NO is just my opinion, as a F2P restriction lover)

    Again the gold cap is due to gold farmers.

    @ Crystalpall "our" restrictions began in Vanilla and were capped at level five. Not in Burning Crusade as your wiki suggests.

    I don't believe there were trials in vanilla... And a level limit of 5? I'd be interested in seeing your sources if that is possible.
     
    The original trial accounts had no level restriction that I know of. But they only lasted seven days, and with the way leveling was back then, you weren't going to get very far. Maybe Eastvale if you were human.

    Any positive changes in removing / lifting restrictions on f2p acc would imply that blizzard care about none paying customers and may lead to unwanted trends like increasing amount of f2p campers.

    If you really think about it, all current restrictions are right and there is no need to change em what so ever.
    Ofc this dosent mean ppl cant wish for them to happen.

    Trial acc let you feel few aspects ingame. You get clear vision of what you can do, achieve and how. if you want more - pay.
    If you that cheep - pay one time and play ptr for "free"
     
    How about a map reveal option?

    lets say, if any of your toon explored to a location and it show in your map, all your other toon regardless of level will automatically able to see it regardless of level; except phased map.

    there will be an option to it on turn on/off if you feeling adventurous

    I suggest this because I have a poor sense of direction in-game and irl, I got lost often in unfamiliar location.
    even with co-ordination add-on, I still bump into to the wrong side, so its hard for me to make mule for chest farm.

    oh, or you can create an in-game world map marker and put a note there, you must be standing there to create the marker and note, but only you yourself able to view it. (there probably an add on can do this, but...)
