  • Which rings should i get on my feral druid, any from a quest i can get for now? untill i feel like farming gnomer?

I don't blame you for not wanting to farm gnomer, but it's worth it, trust me. :)

Gnomer is godamn evil and torturous, but if you wanna do it properly...you gotta just do it.

What makes it bearable is the death animation of those Mechs.

    ...Mwuhahahahaha!

Consider giving lvl 20 a try. The scaling may be worth it. I am not sure what abilities you would lose. But on the up side you can always level up if it does not work out.

    Sweetsidney ...

I think he's already level 24 >>, you would lose swipe ( beneficial for getting rogues and other stealthies out) and dash (useful for staying in cat form with increased speed to catch ur targets). The scaling ends up being roughly equal in terms of ap / crit, although u get like 100-200 more hp depending on build compared to a similar build on a 24. You also lose cleanse, but its minimal for feral druids. Another upside to being 24 is u can participate in p2p arena's more efficiently, unless you are vsing all 20 p2ps. Upside to being 20, you can gear f2p and restrict yourself to get more of a challenge once you get bored of critting 3k ferocious bites :) .

How exactly is it worth it? Without gnomer loot your ferobite will only do 3k as opposed to 3050 with charged gears + emissary cuffs? Running 200 dungs for a few stats when you already literally rape every f2p you see... Nope mate, can't see gnomer farming being worth it :(

Stamp it, Mesi is legit and knows all about Druids. Super nice as well :)

Aww, such a sweet thing to say! Thx for the compliment <3

To elaborate my previous post, I do see where NoLemon is coming from though: minmaxing and being 100% bis is of course a lot of fun :p

Swag points to a Twink are worth more than anything.

My pet hate is people who sit on a Twink for years without completing BiS, especially if it's something that simple. But I do take your point - with most things, it's all down to opinion.

I have been feral druid at 24 for about 7 months and i can tell you: It's really worth the time to farm your items from gnomeregan.

So true, I mean let's take for example charged gear of agility. The ring itself is 22% drop, and according to wowhead the chance of getting the agility version after the ring actually drops is 3,4%.

    0,22 * 0,034 = 0,0748

That is about 0,75%, or 1 in 133 chance to get agility ring as a drop when you kill the boss. Monkey ring is more usual at around 10,2% chance, which is ~2,25%, or ~1/44 chance to get the monkey ring when you kill the boss. The chances seem pretty low but not THAT low. You can end up in an unlucky streak but should eventually get them drops if you keep grinding :D

I did not find too much info on the spawnrate or in other words: what is the percentual chance of meeting Dark Iron Ambassador when you got to gnomer. But as far as the actual droprate goes, with a 30% droprate to get emissary cuffs as a drop, and agi enchant chance being 12,5%, we end up with a total droprate to actually get the agility version of the bracers being 3,75%. Monkey version again has a little bit better, 15,6%, so multiplying that with 30% that is the droprate of the bracers that would be 4,68%. 1/26 for agi version, 1/21 for monkey. Not bad, but however the dark iron ambassador is a rare, you will have to remember he's not there most of the time. As I said I do not have exact info on the mobs spawnrate, but I would give it a rough estimate of 20% (someone please correct me this if you know any better), so you will get these rings in roughly 1/100 dungeon runs.

TLDR; Honestly, if you want every BiS gnomer rng item for your spec (bracers + 2 rings), you will most likely have to spend a lot of time and hundreds of runs to get them. Of course you can be really lucky and get everything within a couple dozen dungeons, or have really really bad rng and need close to 1k runs to get everything, but those facts aside the bottom line is that it will most likely take a huge shitload of time to farm all these items.

edit: misread the quote so scratch that :D

Exactly, I mean all things aside, just the satisfaction of them dropping is worth it IMO.
I'm no veteran at Gnomer, but I've done 60 runs give or take boosting and being boosted, and there are definitely some perks. 4.5k off BoE blues isn't something to scoff at.

I was lucky though... Emissary Cuffs of Agility on my first run. ;)
