70 hunter help/questions

I haven't played 70s for awhile, so I have a few questions. Mostly along the lines of if going 74 is the best option and gear, or if not, which gems/enchants I should be using at 70 and if I need to change any since the changes in enchants.

Blizzard have removed the ability to queue for arena if you level over the bracket cap (70/80/85).

I'd swap neck for hard khorium choker because of the scaling change i don't believe that the necklace of the deep is BiS anymore.

Then possibly also swap Guardian's Band of Triumph for Band of the Eternal Champion.

Everything else looks pretty good to me.
 
Depends on what you're gonna do, Battlegrounds, Arena or PvP?

In battlegrounds WotLK gems still work as intended and scale back to the highest amount (+20 Agility) so it's the best to just use your current gear there. Good thing about this gear is that it's also usable in PvE (with exception of the Necklace).

Arena needs moar stamina to not be one hit killed.
 
Yeah I'll be doing battlegrounds. I kinda gave up on arenas in this bracket awhile ago lol. And thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I guess I have some hyjal rep to farm

Edit: Also, should I replace the gems in my chest with agi or stay with the stam? I remember hunters used to have a hybrid of stam/agi gems and being the lazy person I am, I just stood with the dragon's eye stam gems when I replaced all the normal ones with agi.

If you're just doing bgs then I'd recommend keeping necklace of the deep and wrath gems.

Hunters do more than enough damage so I'd say you should just gem full stam - however, since your main focus seems to be on BGs, where dying isn't such a big issue, you could just gem hybrid for bigger damage (I believe there is a +15 stam +10 agi gem in game?). I'd stay 70 however, just incase you do decide to do arena every now and again - Master's Call (74) isn't such a big deal anyway.

Finally, remember to gem at least some expertise (one dragons eye is pretty much enough), and use a weapon chain!
 
For lols in Battleground go Survival with Agility/Crit stack.

One Multi-Shot can do up to 400K damage then. It's great. I wouldn't go Marksman in BG's anyway, with everyone breaking your CC constantly.
