Have you read Hathôr's 5.4 F2P Comprehensive Rogue Guide? It's pretty good. I think Achmed does a good job of explaining some of the options between agi and crit for sub and ass.

I run dual Wicked Daggers on my Ally ass and find them to be good for my playr style.

I assume you mean BoAs from DMF? You can try them in a BG for an hour or so and get a refund. I don't think the weapon is that great for ass spec. But extra hit can be useful for melee auto attacks.

(I agree with Goesid on shoulders. Went with them when I had a similar issue.)

To be frank I couldn't be bothered with the slightly heightened level of concentration required in order to fully spell out the word "Assassination".
