Getting skinning to 225 on a melee character...

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm wondering how I see level 20s with 225 in skinning when I'm pretty sure the mobs you have to skin from like 205-225 are in the 30s. Do you just have to load up on +hit gear, potions, and die a bunch? I just moved to a new server and don't have any higher level friends that could kill the mobs for me.

Did this on a 24 WW monk, you'll be quite suprised how easy mobs die, make sure to have some potions with you or have a higher level person kill the mobs for you with loot FFA. Last option is also the fastest way. (WoW Skinning Guide 1-600 | Skinning Leveling Guide <-- Skinning fastest guide in my opinion)

Nevermind, I guess I could kill them with a higher level character I have, loot them, then log off and skin with my 20.

Don't bother with this Mr Lebowski, you'll only waste your time logging on and off. It's patch 5.4, every toon at low level is a fucking superhero due to overpowered heirloom stats and even more overpowered enchants. Don't pull too many at a time and you can solo skinning just fine. Hell, you could even solo 225 skinning on a lvl 19 pre-5.4.

Like the guy said above, just do it solo, you'll be surprised how easy it is after all. Takes some time maybe, but definitely soloable.
