THIS IS AN OPINION THREAD. That means people are going to have different opinions. It doesn't mean they disagree, and I don't want anyone calling someone else's thoughts dumb or uneducated or any of that nonsense.

Your opinion: What combinations of classes do you think make the best 2- or 3-man flag running team, and specifically why?

Discuss!

druid hunter

both classes have fucking retarded speed, mobility , druid shift roots, cannot be interrupted put preemptive rejuvs. Hunter sniff out rogues and really balanced concussion shot to keep #$#$ at bay.

Its so obvious ....sigh come on have you played at least 10 bgs in the last couple of months?

For a two person, Druid (carrying)/hunter or Druid/shaman for pretty much the same reasons inoobupro said.

For a three person, Paladin (carrying)/warlock/druid. Good combination of cc/damage and the Druid could potentially do a quick grab and dash if they get into trouble.

For a 2 man i guess Resto/Feral Druid. or Priest(Not Shadow) / Feral)
The best 2s team is Mage(Arcane) , Priest (Disc/Holy) or Priest(Holy) Warlock(Destruction) ! Or double rogue lol !
For 3s i guess 2 healers are needed , Priest(Holy) , Druid (Resto) , Druid (Feral) !
Or Hunter (Survival) , Warlock (Destro), Priest (Discipline / Holy).
Or Priest (Holy) , Rogue (Subtetly/Nightstalker) , Shaman (Elemental) . [ Let the EleShammy get his 7 Elemental Stacks then when hes ready to throw his earth Shock the rogue bust attack at the same time] . Priest should CC their healer , throwing a Chastise to make the healer use insigna then use his fear.
You can use this too :Tauren Priest (Discipline) , Tauren Druid(Feral) , Blood Elf Rogue ( Sub/Nightstalker) ! {When druid is ready to use his FBite the rogue must ambush and directly silence the healer using the racial }

Guardian Druid/Resto Druid or Hpal. Druids cuz of Wild Charge setups or Hpal cuz of Cleasing stuns (Guardian could not need an insignia that way).
Guardian obviously cuz of bear form, stun, and great passives.

Edit: just realized this has nothing to do with FCing.. and that's what my post was about.

Well let's look at each class . IMO you need a tank heals and cc to be effective as fc groups . Mobility is also a big factor .

For just taking damage the clear two choices are warrior and guardian guardian trades a lil bit of mele mitigation for much more mobility and a larger health pool .

Now ow let's look at heals
priest - burst mitigation with bubble and very high cc with roots or psyfeind and fear . LOWEST MOBILITY and squishyest
shaman -increased health which always helps, shear and purge , over all very low cc . Tanky decent mobility . CLENSE
rdruid - roots , extremely high mobility , second squishiest,
hpally - clense , mobility , tanky , kinda low cc compared to priest but higher than Druid and sham , high heals !

Then the cc
Mage , high cc but breaks easily , high mobility if speced , doesn't dr with any other cc from heals aoe ability

lock medium mobility, cc doesn't break as easily . Dr.s with priest

hunter , high cc , mobility , damage , roar of sacrifice ,

For a mobile fc comp
for cc IMO I would rather have a hunter
heals I'll take a hpally
tank if say guardian

Stationary I'd say
warrior
hpally
priest

rdruid with a hunter and rogue escorting.
or .. rdruid +2 hunters.
