Best graphics card

Oliks

Check it!
I really enjoy building and upgrading my computer, but when it comes to most of the technical stuff i'm as dumb as people who defend GY-farming.
My old 2gb AMD Radeon HD 6670 is really starting to die out, and i'm interested in purchasing a new one

I'm looking for one that can play in very high graphics while recording with fraps or streaming.
Price isn't a big issue unless it gets extremely high, but i'm looking for one where you get something good for the money and i'm hoping you guys/gals could help me out!
Just throw some names at me or some links and i'll check it out! :)

Ty!

If cash isn't an issue without going too overboard you can't really go wrong with a nVidia GeForce GTX 680 or 780, both easily play WoW on Ultra whilst streaming at 720/1080p (depending on your upload speed). If you want to stick with Radeon then I'd suggest either the HD 7950 or 7970.

If the GTX 780 is in your price range, I wouldn't go for it. The GTX 780 is a good card, but for just a little more you can get two GTX 770's. The preformance difference between the 770 and 780 isn't big, and with some overclocking one 770 can match the 780 pretty easily. So for about the same price of one 780, you can get 2 770's which preform as 780's. The only thing to note tho is that you will need a big enough case and motherboard that can handle two cards. But tbh, with one 780 you're absolutely fine, WoW doesn't require high comp specs anyways :p

Here is some information about my setup, if anyone knows if i would be able to handle 2x graphics card i'd be so grateful if they told me :p.
I was thinking about overclocking my current graphics card with the new one.

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

CPU
Intel Core i5 3450 @ 3.10GHz
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology

RAM
24,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
(lots for rendering vids)

Motherboard
MSI B75MA-P45 (MS-7798) (SOCKET 0)

Graphics
SL23T-1 LED (1920x1080@60Hz)
L22T-3 LED (1920x1080@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6670 (Sapphire/PCPartner)

Hard Drives
466GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 ATA Device (SATA)
298GB Western Digital WDC WD3200BEVT-22ZCT0 ATA Device (SATA)
119GB Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series ATA Device (SSD)

I record onto the 466gb HDD and my operating system is on the 119gb SSD.
Also i play wow on the SSD.

Well first of all you can't overclock your current card alongside the new one (unless you get another 6670) as they have to be the same card. You'd probably need to update your processor anyway in order to CrossfireX or at least overclock it to ~3.6Ghz at a minimum, but tbh you can pick up one of the lower end quad i7's pretty cheap and that'd do the job without breaking the bank. I'm a bit confused about your RAM setup, 24GB is plenty but that's a low memory speed on it, surely you could tune it to at least 1333? I guess you are running 4x6's, should be able to speed them up a fair bit. Had to google the MoBo but doesn't look to have enough PCI-E slots to run Crossfire, so single GFX card would be the only option unless you upgrade the MoBo too. The HDD/SDD are fine, don't really play a part in it, as long as you have your OS on the SSD it's all fine.

My two cents, will let Whatgoesup take a shot too

You can't use 2 graphic cards. I'd recommend upgrading your motherboard. A good one will cost you around 150 euro's.

Looking at your set-up, if you were to upgrade and have a fair budget, I'd do this:

Graphic Cards:
x2 MSI N770 TF 2GD5/OC or x2
GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD
These two are relatively cheap, and preform really well. One thing to note tho is that Gigabyte is known for being somewhat loud when running, but does usually outpreform the MSI by a bit. But if you game with a headset you won't notice the noise anyways.
Processor:
Intel® Core™ i5-4670K
The reason why I take the i5 over the i7-4770k is because the difference between the processors is minimal, and the gap can easily be closed via overclocking. Plus it saves you roughly 100 euro's.
Motherboard:
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
Just a really solid motherboard that looks good too :p There are loads of motherboards in this price range that are more or less the same so it doesn't really matter, as long as it has SLI.

In terms of your RAM, I'd do what Xykojen said.
