80 Warrior twink

Looking over what I need to upgrade/reenchant (Reenchants because of the enchants being available at all levels, just scaled)

Figured I would just ask you guys to rate and a few of you would probably throw me what needs improved.

Right off the bat, looking at it, I need to enchant my sword and a few other things, but throw whatever you think at me and I'll take it all into consideration!

Suggest getting two more JWC gems (you're at 1/3 atm :D), and using mastery enchants where you can. I've yet to finish gearing my warrior (so no simcraft yet), but it's possible crit gemming > str gemming, and I'd go for the 409 helm/gloves if you can get them ;)
The mail helmet and int gloves? (i409)
and you can only put Chimera eyes in i285+ items :( Hence why I only have one in my trinket, the max item I can get from WotLK is i277 and I don't think there's any better gear I can get at i285+ with a socket :c

Updated armory by the way, changed a bunch of stuff.

Can still use dragon's eyes ;) It's likely they give more stats ingame anyway.

Regarding the others, I'm gonna do some simcraft stuff tomorrow (need to finish my dk ICC gearset), and will likely get some warrior stuff in there as I'll be gearing up mine soon. Will get back to you on the usefulness of the i409 helm/gloves (and possibly belt, the mastery on it is ridiculous).

It's quite likely though that it's worth it, even for just the helm. A chaotic meta gem is worth almost the full 6% increased damage for a warrior thanks to bloodthirst and the amount of crit from both door breakers. Plus you can then throw a mastery gem in the helm for moar enrage damage (100% uptime on a huge damage buff that scales with mastery? Yes, I do believe I'll take that)

Whilst I'm still rambling though, +10 stats to chest, Hodir AP/crit enchant to shoulders and a 26 mastery enchant to gloves (cata one, should read +65 for 85+ characters)

Any word?

Alright, apologies for this being slow.

Simcraft results are as follows:

Using an "optimised" gearset, which basically means all 409s that are useful (helm, shoulders, chest, bracers, gloves, legs, ring, weapons), gemming for mastery as much as possible, keeping 3x str/crit gems in wotlk gear for meta activation; I get 57,500dps, with a stat weight of wdps>mastery>crit~=haste>str>ap>exp~=hit.

Mastery is more than twice as good as strength. Crit and haste are either way, crit is slightly better than haste, but due to us wanting to reforge all mastery, whichever gives you the most mastery after reforging is best (for example, it's better to reforge Penumbra Pendant to mastery from crit, as it gets you more mastery).

As a comparison; I also simmed Ochiwana's warrior (Ragunash), as well as Xipe's warrior (Xipelol) and got results as follows:

Ragunash - 54,569dps (wdps>mastery>crit~=haste>str>ap>exp~=hit)
Xipelol - 56,188dps (wdps>crit>mastery>haste>str>ap>exp~=hit)

More 409s really does add quite a bit more dps, and prioritising strength isn't a good idea (unless you want parry to solo with I guess). I've a feeling that xipe's low crit has something to do with the value of it there, as he runs with a fair amount more AP than my profile).

There is some slight increase that can be had from small gear changes (I'm thinking an i300 crit/mastery alicite neck, or even the 308 parry/mastery one), plus some better reforges, but this can come later.

Optimal gearset can be found here:
Code:

off_hand=bjam's_doorbreaker,id=87423,enchant=berserking,reforge=hit_mastery
Using simcraft input I'm afraid, but should be easy enough to read. Berserking vs Landslide vs Dancing steel is still up in the air. Dancing steel procs less AP, but on paper can be up more often. Shouldn't matter as a dual wield class though.

i think that wotlk head better than 308 one, because of meta gem 3% crit dmg gives you more than little stats from the cata helm :).
for me non plate items 409 are worse than 277/284 wotlk plates with str. (5% str bonus in full plate set)
