I am so lucky?
Sup guys! I did my first try today with my shaman to get the lucky fishing hat. and after 15min i got it..
please tell me below if this is normal or i was just lucky :)
Tell me how many tries it took for you to get it !

Got mine on my 1st time after 42 minutes. Got the DPR on my 2nd time. So it's not a surprise

And, to be honest, I've never ever tried to get lfh before because I only twinked in 29 bracket back in the day

Seems pretty lucky to me. On the two toons I got it on I never had the insanely long grind that some people see, but 15 min is super quick. Congrats! :)
 
Someone around here has a SS of his toon getting it on the first cast. <Fishing skill increased to 2> <The Old Gnome and the Sea> right next to each other, with LFH in the loot window.

Still, 15 minutes, gratz :D
 
My personal record is 11 casts at fishing level 26 for a preist I hardly play anymore.

That kind of serendipitous luck is why it took 8 weeks of fishing for my main druid, and why the shammy I'm fishing for now has done it 4 weeks with a rare fish each week and still no keefer.

Moral of the story, enjoy the lucky feeling, chances are you will never have such an easy time again :p

3rd in about 30min(late 10 min start) then 4th in 20 after

Day 168.

24 Sundays of fishing in Stranglethorn Vale attempting to only catch Keefer's Angelfish. I think I've lost part of my mind sometime within tries 10-13. But I still have hope. However, I'm slowly deteriorating from the amount of people around me who have succeeded. I ask Nat Pagle to set me free from this curse. The luck I obtained seems to only attract Brownell's Blue Striped Racer and Dezian Queenfish. I ask "Why Nat Pagle, why..." as he mocks at my misfortune. "Please... allow me to become BiS..." The hunters point and laugh wearing their eyepatches as I cry "Stop... I'm a clothie..." I cast my Jeweled Fishing Pole into the Ponds of the Unworthy only to fish up more unnecessary Speckled Tastyfish. I'm tired of casting. The end of my sustain is near, I see it comming. As Riggle Bassbait yells for the tournament to finish, I find myself at another loss. Thus leaving me to once again create more Captain Rumsey's Lager. Patiently waiting to be tortured again.
