AGM not working well?!

Well, I've been noticing that my agm is not absorving the 1097 dmg it claims to do when I pop the shield.
It absorvs only part of the 1st hit I get... Like absorved 290 and passed 7 dmg, or one time a rogue hit me for 90 (multilate average hit) and AGM absorved only 70 and faded. This is really pissing me off since I thought it was gonna be a huge buff for my enh shammy and sometimes it isnt even worth popping it.

Did you guys notice it too or should I go to Gurubashi and ask Short John Mithil to change my broken trinket?
 
It is effected by battle fatigue like any other buble. try shadowmelt before use if u ally sometime helps.
More use of it comes in wod
 
Ok, can be affected by fatigue... but I pop it, it absorvs 70 dmg and fades. It just doesn't seems right

I agree, rather than just saying "it's affected by battle fatigue" please explain how, and by how much, and what is a reasonable expectation of its performance, and exactly how it will be different in WoD.

Even for as long as I've been playing F2P, I've played on Aerie Peak therefore I've never had an AGM, but recently I've made characters on other servers so I want to know more details about this. Thanks in advance.

They say they remove battle fatigue, nerf players health and dmg.
If u have 1.3k hp and do ~200 dmg, a pure 1k shied gonna be more useful, just like in cata.
atm in most situations shield gives u one global cd.
 
sometimes when u at low hp almost dying and pop agm it kinda of bugs and only absorvs like 1st hit.

Tip: use agm be4 u going to enter combat so u can 1k-800absorv, also choose well when to use it, some ppl use it vs one class the can easily beat or vs group they are going to die anyway ppl also do that alot with divine bubble.
 
I have a screenshot of me popping it, it absorbing 67 damage, then breaking. I had a rogue on me.

It's very odd. No the time did not run out and no I didn't get purged.
 
When you look at combat log -> what happened to me, it only shows the final hit that actually breached through the agm bubble. What I mean is, completely absorbed hits do not show up in the combat log anymore. It is not bugged, it's just that it absorbs 337-562 damage in pvp right now, and pretty much every class/spec can do that damage in a global.

Mesik is correct. You're not going to see the full absorb in Floating Combat Text.

The current absorb is somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-500. Which is still worth having, but not nearly as strong as it was pre-Battle Fatigue.

Try to use it before combat, to get the maximum effect.
