One of the only reasons to play Feral in 20-24s

To own F2Ps with your overpowered gear and enchants because you're not skilled enough to win on an even fight? I knew it. also nice flamey druid

I love how whiney poor kids complain about P2Pers ruining their own bracket. F2Ps actually shit up the bracket with their inferiority. You're insinuating that it is more noble to purposefully gimp yourself if you are a subscriber, which is incredibly fucking stupid and pathetic to say.

Your bracket would get so few pops without the f2p players. I would say what he said is neither stupid nor pathetic, but a reasonable argument.

Purposefully gimping yourself in this bracket allows you much more competitive and challenging PVP than steamrolling poorly geared chars as a 24.

Again, you're saying I should gimp myself on purpose because someone else is "poorly geared". Using your standards, no one should roll Hunters, Rogues, or Shadow Priests either.

Everyone has their own choice to make. Just like most video games, you can play this bracket on Rookie Mode, Hard, or Extreme Mode. The level your character is and the class you play will decide which mode you're on. If you play Hard or Extreme mode, you will die more, it will take longer to beat the game, etc. - but it will mean a lot more.

You have the right to play Rookie Mode if that's what's most fun for you. But don't come to school telling your friends you beat the game until you do it on Extreme Mode.

Your analogy makes no sense. Twinks are twinks. Are you really trying to say you're a rookie if you twink your character to the fullest extent? Terrible, terrible analogy. I don't think I have to tell you you're wrong if you think the point of PvP is to purposefully "die more". It doesn't "mean a lot more", it means you have some weird complex that gives you enjoyment out of being inferior.

Who remembers july 2011 when 24s didn't exist and no one had boas? Good times.

I remember sept/oct of that year and rolling a 24 ally rogue and the kind words the f2p had for me........i never heard such stuff in the Navy for 5 years.. there will always be tension but much less now than then 5.3 was perfect though.

One day they will invent fighting video games where you use your own physical strength and speed to fight virtually. But until then fighting games are actually about using your head. The only way to be inferior is if you play stupid. Your character's stats don't determine whether or not you're superior or inferior. Unless you're into RP the point of this game is to use your head, not your gear. In this bracket being an f2p 20 (like the majority of the bracket) is what allows you to use your head to win games.

So, given two players of equal skill, one with crap gear and one with BiS, you're saying stats gained aren't going to make one person superior over the other? Are you just trying to make awful arguments? Being F2P is what allows you to use your head to win games? I'm not even going to entertain your need for confrontation anymore, you're just flat out wrong and in denial. Sorry you're bitter that people choose to take the optimal route. There's a reason it's called the 20-24 bracket and not the F2P bracket, but you'll probably have some completely unrelated excuse for that too, right?

We are talking about two different ways of being superior. My point is that you arent getting the most out of this bracket if you're relying on your gear to make you superior rather than your head. The stronger your gear, the less of your head you have to use, and the less credit it is to you for winning.

Some people have the most fun by overpowering weaker opponents by having better gear. I guess the funnest part of the game for them is to watch the graphics of their opponents death animation. Maybe they are really into graphic design, I dont know

Other people have the most fun by using strategy to win. That's why chess matches start out with both sides having the same chess pieces

Its not about 24s being unwelcome. It's just a different kind of fun and a funner kind of fun for us fun-loving f2ps. And we would love to have some fun with you too, Lebowski

It's hard to watch every other thread turn into this shit. Nothing every changes. The 20s are here to stay, and the 24s are here to stay. The constant bickering back and forth between both parties just creates a toxic environment both here and in game. Despite repeated efforts, the 20s are not going to succeed at taunting or goading the 24s into playing 20s. All the inflammatory comments to and from the two parties just lead to frustration which leads to shitty experiences in game. If people would just accept the bracket for what and how it is, and play the game the way THEY WANT to play it, it would be a great bracket regardless of the obvious imbalances.
