I'm(Ore) Never going back to regular Wow

nan, I get where Ore is coming from when she/he says that vanilla twinks takes skill to be good at. Its like comparing a 19 rogue that opens with ambush as opposed to sap/garrote and restealth ;) Much more variability back then, skill was required.

You didn't get my point here. I was pointing out that he is playing a good class as 24 so he should enjoy the game but yet he do prefer open with sap > garrote > get restealth.

You can't even compare 1.12.1 with 5.4, they both require some sort of "skill" in different areas. But I think that people over exaggerate how hard it is to be good at Vanilla, it really isn't very, the hardest thing is leveling, but once you hit 60 it's fairly easy.

where comparing current 19s to vanilla 19s and theres a huge difference (you cant actually compare WoW before and after cata), not comparing level 60 to level 90.

dispells, blessing of freedom, access to jumps, melee being viable out in the open for long stretches, fights that require thought and not "ambush evis" or "stack arcane charge and drop a two hit" etc etc.

Healers still require high awareness on retail, but for damage its a complete joke, and even then with healing requiring skill its just a matter of spamming your heals in mid, not dropping useful fear bombs, quickly dispelling ur rogue out of a nova to give him time on target etc. obviously u can do this on a resto sham but if you cast a dispel on retail your target will be dead in a global that u wasted not healing. thats the only reason why its healer intensive on retail.

Rogue pally duels r all the rage atm, although rogues have 3 keys xD

That could have consisted of lag, or the fact my pally isn't fully geared.
