was just going thru old toons/servers and wanted to check my 19 lock i was building out. logged in and hit 20. anything on it salvageable if i wanted to try the bracket? are locks viable (and specs)? and any gear advice?
 
Salfir has written an excellent guide on level 20 locks (f2p): http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35972 | Imo locks are quite viable if they stay at the back and don't get themselves cought in groups. They do quite nice damage but kinda lack defences.

Edit: Turns out I was wrong about seduction. That's a level 26 spell.

Uhm well to be honest, you do need to replace 'quite a lot'.

Here's some examples:

Level 20 warlocks

Level 24 warlocks:

Destro lock burst at 24 is awesome with the combination of succubis' lash of pain and double conflags. You do have to stay back though, as locks are super squishy no matter what level.
 
Destruction is pretty good affli aswell to multidot can do some nice damage and if dots are dispelled much damage and a silence gets in there (you prolly know) not really a played class in the bracket but it is good.

well you know when someone stun or fear or poly you the succubus will cast seduction(shame that it doesn;t work with scatter shot ) and the imp love to dispel hammer of justice and fears even if you learn the spells at high levels.
But yea you are a glass canon as warlock better to have a friend healer because rogues and hunters love to gang you.

When I was playing my 24 lock (Brätty), I could do some insane burst and was very effective if I was running with help but If I solo queued, it was a miserable experience.
 
When on my Warrior, I happily target Locks simply because they're easy kills but have potential for high burst. Knocks them down a few notches. Dat Interrupt and Blood Elf silence.

I have a toon named Cinderella(big Disney fan), the avatar is a picture of the character as depicted in Fables. A popular comic series. So this is where that came from. Don't get distracted though. We're veering off topic and this is all completely irrelevant.
