Searching for an addon to do this

    • Anybody know of an addon that would allow me to keep track of the census information of players in BGs...

    In other words I want to keep track of the classes/races of players I encounter in pug BGs and Id prefer not to do it by hand. Not sure if you guys know of anything like this.

    Yeah battleground targets helps but I was hoping somebody knew about an addon that would actually keep track of the data throughout multiple BGs. If Bgtargets has an option to do something like that, I dont know about it.
     
    Like a database of people you have met in BG's?
     
    Reason I'm looking for this is because I've always been interested in trying to roll more unique, less populous toons and race/class combos. So I'm interested to see which are the least represented.
     
    I had a friend who tried this same experiment at max level a few years back.

    The way he finally decided was best was to enter a BG with WoW in windowed mode, use Battlegrounds targets, and enter the Race/Class/Spec he saw into an excel spread sheet.

    He had a system that worked for him, and that only took him about 15~ seconds to enter all 10 in.

    Race = 1-7 for Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome, Worgen, Draenai, Pandaren.
    Class= 1-9 for Druid - Warrior
    Spec= 1-3

    And then he had excel auto sort that input for him based on some criteria it gave him. I think it's fairly simple to figure out, but I'm not a big excel person myself.

    Hope this helps - in short, I am almost positive no such addon exists.


    Edit: You could also just use the first letters for each, and you could make excel sort that data.

    So W/L/DS would be a Worgen Destruction Lock
    And DW/PR/D would be a Dwarf Disc Priest.

    Yeah thanks, I was kind of thinking of just doing this at first and then I thought, hell there are so many addons, maybe one of them has a built in feature that you could use to do the same thing basically.
