-50 F would be -45.55 C... not sure where you're living or if your recollection is off because that's pretty freaking cold. And I'm a canuck, so I speak from experience lol
 
my formula must have been wrong im an american so metrics arent really used where im at haha..... but yea i was a complete moron for walking in that was a whiteout also

i once found a brown patch on the sheets. i peeled it off, through it in the fire and ten minutes later i heard *fart*

that's ​cold!
 
I live in Houston so anything below 40 gets everyone in a uproar. I was stationed at NAS Brunswick (Maine) for 2 years in navy and worked on flight line. Dem ears. We used to sneak up on each other and thump each other on ears. When it's below zero there is no worse pain

Walking out into 19 degrees Fahrenheit with damp hair and it froze, that's cold to me
