What's up with healers?

That's pretty depressing, I mostly play healing classes :/
Well right after the patch imo it wasn't that bad, but it seems like every hotfix has included some silly +OP-to-hunter buff till we're pretty much playing in cata again.

I still find it enjoyable to some extent, just don't count those deaths.

Yeah, healers are very rewarding. I'll never quit healing.... just heal my way through the shitty patches and listen to the QQ about how OP heals are when the next patch comes.

Healing is fun for me this patch. Healing isn't OP to me so you can really tell who's a fotm and who's not, but we all play to have fun, so that's largely irrelevant.

also snowjobs, we healers aren't snack food, so stop munching on us!

idk . i seem to eat through any healer outside of pallies like birthday cake on my warrior . throw in speed pots and worsen racial no druid will live .

When you talk about your worgen warrior, I want to tear of my clothes and kill a moose with a chainsaw. So free.

healers in general have been given a unique build over with the constant change in stas and how resil vs power work, my advice check forums check out others and find your happy medium.
Me personaly haven't played my druid in pvp in like 7 months but he is also 90

Nothing wrong with healing as far as I can make out. In f2p I play healer 90% of my bg time. My healing experience on f2p is limited to resto druid and disc priest but I see other healers do fine too.

Playing my resto shaman > Getting targeted by Warriors and Rogues, mostly rogues, because I have no fucking way to get them off me like a Resto Druid can, and I don't have heavy Armor or remove poisons like a Paladin, or even a stun. Idk how people can even play Resto shaman in this bracket, our only defense comes from our talents. Either I get kicked, even if I dodge the kick I get stun, trinket the stun, hit with a scatter shot, and then I'm dead. This is the most frustrating experience.

I personally hope they continue nerfing healers. I'm tired of running into 6-8 man healer comps that Horde runs, not to mention all the lol24s. Or maybe actually put a system in place that shapes teams to a certain degree. No more than 3 of any class/spec/role for example. /endrant

Youre not supposed to be letting yourself get surrounded by a war and hunters.

Maybe people need to learn what warlocks had to back when hunters ruled F2P, you cant just walk up to the front battle lines and expect everything to go well. You need to stay grouped with your team or else rogues will eat you etc.

I'm in the back like every other healer, but what happens then? Rogues skirt around the fight and hit me from behind, where no one is paying attention at all. And if they cannot pay attention to their healer getting wrecked, I can see why they just let the FC go right through mid without much resistance. I didn't even mention how hunter pet's can pretty much solo me by themselves without their master, lol.

I personally love rsham, with a little bit of good positioning and a year or two of experience i find that most dps sleep on rshams and let you freecast.

This is what it really comes down to, isn't it? Positioning and team awareness. When your team lacks one trait the healer often has to pull up the slack in order to remain effective. If you lack both, might as well log on the hunter and blast sh!t.

Since I posted earlier in this thread the shock of seeing heals diminished by 55% has worn off. Healing is still fun, I just had to switch up my game an adapt. I will say that I think fatigue particularly favors disc priests.

My team has very little awareness it seems. I'm always on the lookout for Rogues, which there seem to be at least 4 of per team when I play my shaman regardless of spec. Meanwhile, the enemy team makes a beeline straight for me. I don't know what it is. Also my teams seem to have an overwhelming need to chase after low HP targets, outranging me and getting themselves killed. -.-

Yeah man i can vibe with you, no matter how hard you stay alert and how perfect you position yourself, you just can't account for 9 other players doing their jobs correctly. It's tough pugging, but when you roll into a good team it is really rewarding. Also, unlike many other specs a healer can really turn the tides in a game. I find that if i heal through shitty teams long enough, i'll eventually run into a team that can really compliment my play style and it reignites the spark in wanting to heal. Everyone has their own personal thing, but for me healing will never get boring. Also, the love other players have for a good healer is amazing, it really builds your confidence in your play style and will want you to keep going and give you more experience. I don't know how it is in EU, but that's how it is in US. I imagine the players/quality of games aren't much different, but i don't know. Anyways, just stay positive and things will change bro :D

Best of luck in your travels through azeroth ^.^
