20 Enhance - Playing for the Challenge

The fact that the totem is one shotable and has to be casted, doesn't change.

Goesid has played this class lol, look his sig.

And enhance shamans should be able to kill bdruids rather easily. Especially after 5.4 with their increased mana pool from enchant and 2x EF for almost viable dmg. The heal that one tick of Rejuv gives, should be able to be outdamaged before he can purge it.

Also watershield is a must if you wanna survive, even with the 188+ mana enchant they will go oom really fast, and mana shield should be able to keep up their mana for a whole fight.

we are talking 19 which I understand is confusing cause this is the wrong forum for that but I have no experience with19 shaman and pre 5.4 making enchants irrelevant. And as stated earlier without water shield the shaman will lose fairly quick.

Literally everything you have stated is wrong to the point where Goesid himself, the man you are defending, has to come in and explain to you why and how he has already withdrew his case.

If you know how to use the totem to negate enemy burst damage then whether the totem is one-shottable or not doesn't matter. I'm not sure by what you mean when you say it is casted. Unless they changed this in 5.4 it is instant, and wowhead says it is instant. Regardless, that is irrelevant because what Goesid and I were talking about is how he told that 19 enhance shaman guy that it would be embarassing if he lost to a boomkin in 5.3 and back in 5.3 SBT was instant.

I understand that Goesid has played Shaman. When I said class, I really meant enhancement shaman at level 19 in this scenario, can't believe I have to spell this out for you. It doesn't seem like he has experience with enhancement shaman at 20 either. Enhancement shamans are different playstyles than Elemental or Restoration, just like a Feral Druid will have different playstyles than a Boomkin.

After 5.4 doesn't matter because what Goesid was reffering to was in patch 5.3.

Also, watershield is a must, which Shamans don't have at level 19 which is the point I've been trying to get across as to while it's impossible for an enhancement shaman to beat a boomkin at level 19 twinks, especially pre 5.3.
Right I guess I went in a little too fast on this.

I thought you meant shamans in general, thus the statement about Dasha playing shaman, and since this is the 20-24 forum I thought you were speaking about 20-24 shamans, thus the statement about watershield.

And yes SBT is instant, but you still have to "cast" it, like press the button for it to appear. While Nature's Guardian is passive spell.

And yes in 5.3 shamans, especially in the 19 bracket was awful, and still is. But I would like to point out to the OP, if he still reads this, that in 5.4 enhance shamans can easily beat bdruids
