Best level for rogue in the bracket/

Some say 20, mines 22, HoneyBadger says 24...

20 used to scale better than 24, but no longer does apparently, 22 will give you gouge and Blackvenom Blade/Outlaw's (H) and 24 will require you to run Gnomer a shit load of times but will give you some extra AP/HP

20 still scales better than 24. there has been no changes in scaling and since both 24s and 20s have enchants. 21 will also give BVB and Outlaws.
 
20 is best atm, last patch I would of said 22 because of the slower paced playstyle. As of this patch however you're literally one shotting players.

I always feel that 24 rogues are more powerful than me in RvR, even with 2 lvl difference it seems noticeable. I mentioned 22 for gouge alone, Idk why anyone would stay at 21 when gouge is 1 level higher, honestly, is the stat scaling that big a difference? (Assuming one has no access to BVB)
 
Even if 20 rogues scale better they are only by a small margin and plus gouge is waaaay underrated. I can get gouge off sometimes and first aid my whole health up before they come out of the stun. IMO dont even roll rogue in this bracket.. ever since patch they are insanely dull and boring.. stealth, ambush and one hemo.. rinse and repeat boring as hell but its up to you man

despite fueling the bracket's activity, most of us prefer to vs 24's over f2ps which we're doing actively at the moment, gouge can be useful there if you have a clue
 
or u dont want to relevel and accept ur rogue is obsolete for pugs.

24 is still best for war games since scaling doesn't occur there.

21 must have outlaw sabre if it all bis gear still scales this patch. I can check later tonight.

But shouldn't take 1 more level for gouge + ashen/toughened leather gloves? :) Tough call imo, as ashen or toughened might scale quite nicely and well, and more abilities (especially CC) for rogues @ this level isn't too bad, is it? Focus gouges sound useful ^^
 
I have a 20 rogue that is my guilty pleasure. I solo queue only on him and don't care if our team wins or not when playing on him.

scaling purposes only 21 is best lvl. 22 u lose alot of stats so bad that u might as well go to 24. 24 with gnomer gear with is best all around. If you want a twink to gear in a few hours n avoid gnomer 21 or 20, but don't say is cause of scaling. Gouge ability is huge.

20 rogue is best for:

can be geared fast
cant be farmed as easily
fun for solo queing
blend in with 20's


far less superior from a 24. Due to gouge n 24 gear.
