Fire mage?

Looking for a gear guide for a 20 p2p fire mage! I know there are a ton of setups with the recent changes to enchants, but I'm looking for a haste/crit heavy build. TY

Ah yeah now i remember Holy paladin killing with Shockz and OP WOG / fury warrior 700 crits / SHS ambush 900 crit. I see i was thinking u gettin 1- shotted mid / late cata i was like lol ?

Tried fire:
If you're able to freecast it's pretty strong.

However 90% of the time you'll have a hunter shooting at you or kiting a rogue/warr which nullifies your damage as fire.

Also it's like near impossible to cast a fireball...let alone a pyroblast so I advice sticking with frost or arcane unless you're a masochist

Why 20 when you can go 24 and pick up inferno blast for guaranteed crit every 8sec... Also more crit gear at 24

Fire is ok but not as fun as it was with scorch, also arcane and frost have better dmg and frost has more CC.

Baseline,Mage itself is already useful. My main mage spec is fire and playing can be a challenge, even with competant heals.You do get that satisfaction when killing and if setup properly can be achievable! I usually play objectively and I use this setup for some Surprising burst.

I start with Freezing for the shatter, If they dont trinket or shift You run and start casting Pyroblast, as soon as it finishes use presence of mind then pyro again.The first two should crit,activating a Higher damage instant pyro.

Berserker, arcane intellect,Orc racial, chipped power core, and xAmount of stacks = Insane Damage

Tlr - fire isn't Useless
