[Druid] Green Tinted Goggles (150MP) vs Preened Tribal War Feathers

Sputnick

Made in EU
Like topic says, what are your thoughts on it? I happen to have a GF'd Green Tinted Goggles with 150MP on it. But I wanna know what do you guys consider:

Green Tinted Goggles
+8 Stamina
+7 Spirit
+150 Mana (Grandfathered)

OR

Preened Tribal War Feathers
+10 Stamina
+6 Intellect
+4 Spirit
+4 Critical Strike

What are your thoughts on it?

does the mana enchant scale like the chest one? if so then use goggles

It works for the 400% more mana (went from 550MP to 1.300MP).

Your Tinted goggles gonna be so much efficient in mid fight environment, if you reactive as fuck you can keep your mates alives for 3 real fights when normal healers have to back to resto hut to restart the mana fight.

Gotta try that out.

Thank you guys, really wanna be up-to-date.

Goggles, but only if mogged into LFH

ye use ur goggles :D

Just try if you go OOM easily, in 5.3 you didn't go OOM really easily with +100mana chest as resto. Now, though, because heals are a bit weaker -> you have to spam more heals -> burn through manapool faster.

Try if you OOM easily, if not, then use loom. If yes / you want style points, mog goggles into LFH and go roflrape :p

You can also get +188mana to chest now, which is almost 1k more mana so that's an option too. And when it comes to head loom, you need to think if you prefer armor+spirit over haste. Cloth loom hat gives +4 haste instead of spirit that you get from leather, and obv a bit less armor. Faster heals or less physical dmg taken + mana regen?

Back in 5.3 you were forced to go haste and get the first break point of haste for the extra rejuv tick. Now with the massive amount of hastes enchants it's not a big deal to loose the 4 haste from the heirloom head even more if it's for the double of your 5.3 mana pool. It can be really cool.

Yeah a big mana pool can be nice, but gotta also be realistic here and think: will I ever need a 2,5k mana pool in wsg? If no, why use the mana enchanted goggles at all? It all depends whether you go OOM as a rdruid in bgs or not. If you play 100 games and never even go under half of your manapool, why not ditch some of the mana as it's useless and get other useful stats out of it?

If you do go OOM even with full mana enchants, then obviously there is no need to change and goggles are just fine. But even then it can be cool to have another headpiece for different situations. In some situations you might want burst healing more for example, or have more armor. I haven't tried restodruid on bgs yet and don't know if they go oom easily so won't say whether you should use loom or goggles, but I think it's good to have different gear to switch for different situations.

In PUG sure no. Cuz if you are solo healer your DPS gonna die before. But in premade it's all about turn of healing. The druid is always here when the pally is oom he have to pay more attention, spend more mana to heal. The priest for his part have to keep going offensively but also keep shield on everysingle burst landed to your mates. So during the drink phase of the pally or his back up to resto hut it can be really efficient. I know most of times you gonna play PUG, but i do believe that #sputnick is a great premade fan + he will bring back his mates + maybe he will fight TL 10 man. I hope he just don't dodge like some of EU and most of US

I'm bringing back some oldschool people, but I think we will total around 7. But if I get 3 more, with some practise, I don't see why not.

PS: Sputnick never dodges, Sputnick LOS's.
