Rogue, 20 \ 22 \ 24?

I'm an ALLIANCE rogue so I was wondering between 20 22 or 24, I seen quite a few 20 rogues that are P2P that wreck a ton more then 24s, but with the loss of gouge, I feel like 22 would look pretty stupid and 24 is probs better, so I was wondering when everybody thinks, thanks ;)
 
22 is probably best, with the current state of hunters and their presence in the bracket, being able to gouge disengage is mandatory. You're benefiting from quite a bit of scaling @ 22 as well.
 
for high ambushes it goes in this order 21* >20>22>24>23 this is with current patch. next patch changes alot of things of course

for all around agility/Attack power and abilities 22>24>21>20>23. I'd say 24 is still most balance. IMO

boils down to 2 things your play style and situational thats y at the end 24 is better. IMO

If you really put yourself into it, get all gnomer and hard to get gear, 24 is best imo. But 20 or 22 is a bit easier to gear especially if you hate gnomeregan :)
 
Imo 24 is bad, I think someone is just a little upset they can't delevel xD


I have a 20 waiting for patch if I'm go 21 use outlaw with Bvb or 20 with doomspike and sf . Ill wait until after patch. IMO 21 is bis in current patch for rogues. 22 isn't worth it u lose to much scaling ap
 
Having gouge is absolutely crucial really, to be honest you can't justify an AP increase over the loss of an ability of that caliber.
 
I think 22 is good to be at because you get the benefit of scaling inside bgs and you also have acess to quite a few more items.
Also a question of my own if i may, i am thinking of making a rogue twink probably at 24 and i was wondering what horde items do i need to get or should i get for looks and gear. i already know argas ring, d1000 ring outlaw sabre ect but is there anything i might miss?
 
Quick question:

For those who use gouge, how reliable is it to, say, cc a healer/etc. despite hemorrhage and deadly poison ticks breaking gouge cc? Does the gouge cc immediately break when a hemo ticks, or does it require more damaging ticks, like from deadly poison or more hemos, to break?
 
Since the same stats effect a character the lower ones level is, I would say possible 21, for BvB in 5.4 and the scaled enchants. Like many people have said 22 for gouge, but if you put on both poisons its pretty useless. Good for duels, or arenas.
 
There are far too many people giving biased and unqualified opinions in this thread to glean anything of use. Rogues are about as good at any of the levels that you listed. Roll a dice if it please you.
