because nobody in their right mind has touched that bracket in like 5 years unless they have GFd gear. 50s use pretty much the same gear and is miles ahead in acrivity.
 
1k at most. I'd buy it but only if it's on spinebreaker

Hyperbole aside (49s played through Cata, have no grandfathered gear, and 50s see some significant gear changes), the Freezing Band might garner more interest if 50s ever get PvP going, but they have better PvE options.

We even did a few 49 games when mop first hit:)
As for the ring, most 49 didn't use it.
Last time I recall that ring really being popular was back when hunters could use mana. I really look forward to lvl 50 pve twinking but judging by the armory links I've seen I feel like most of the players in the bracket haven't really looked into what's bis aside from the engineering stuff.

Most gear in the 50 bracket was looking weird, but that was because a lot of classes had to gear for certain stats. Like a lot of spirit for healers cause of long fights, tons of hit for DPS's cause of the lvl difference etc.

Are you EU or US btw?

Nah, I'm US. I totally understand that spirit and hit is needed. I'm just talking about absolutely poor choices in gear. I've seen some pretty bad choices in shoulder pads, trinkets and weapons. For some reason lots of lvl 50 use the haste/ poison trinket from sunken t. A lot of the time they have some pretty nice items on but still not bis. I've seen weapons being used that 49 don't even use... like taran icebreaker with lvl1 enchant so it defeats the purpose of not using boa.

Well not everyone has the money/time/enthusiasm to get BiS, but a good bunch of the Fifty and Pregnant core raid group were 100% BiS
