The Diminishing Returns of Resilience Rating @ 70???

  • As the title says, has anyone actually got data on how PvP resilience rating scales @ 70 for 5.3? and if so how does "diminishing returns" interact with pvp resil rating? is it similar to 90 and has a linear dimishing returns rate in the fact that Adding 100 Resilience rating will always increase your effective health by 1.23% relative to your displayed health??? or does it hit a cap THEN start scaling like shit?

I've heard some people say "stack resil till 50%" but they've never had any solid data to back that info up. If anyone could illuminate me that would be amazing! and I'm sure you'll help others out in doing so.

Yeah I understand that everyone is stacking stamina these days to avoid getting 1 shot. But in saying that, the more stamina you have the more valuable resilience becomes, And there has to be a balance between the two, unless the baseline 40% resilience is just completely disproportionate to the amount of default stamina you get on your gear. But anyway, thanks for the input meat, but more keen to find out about resil, to see if there is a "soft cap" or something along the lines of that before it scales like absolute aids.

I'm asking most of these questions in preparation for patch 5.4 (what I am designing my twink around) as stamina gems are going to get nerfed into the ground, and resil gems are going to remain the same.

A friend of mine playing Disc priest can barely get over 53% with full resilience stacking. This includes all +20 gems and some +34 gems, enchants for resilience, and pots.
