PVP Power on Parachute Cloak, the best Damage Dealing Enchant?

• Hey guys, I'm in the middle of building a set for my warrior with which to nuke efc at high stacks (it's also working well tearing through anything without a shield). I'm just wondering whether I should keep Miner's Cape (5str 5stam 102 armour) or switch it out to Parachute Cloak with PVP power (58 armor 16 PVP Power, Slow Fall)?
Does anyone know if the damage increase is significant enough to lose the AP and crit from Miner's cloak?

(P.S. I switch between Emil's Brand and BoA axe for double sader proc, incase you are wondering why it's equipped ^^)

I believe it's 4.66% resil reduction it gives so roughly 5% dmg

PvP Power and resil don't actually interract with each other at all. 16 PvP Power is a flat 4.33% damage increase at 24.

It's definitely a boost in damage to use Parachute/PvP Power before 5.4 hits, it scales much better for weapon damage based abilities (i.e. slam/MS).

I'll base it on 370 AP without a cloak, just some rough numbers for normalized topend damage. Parentheses are with 200 extra AP from crusader.

These numbers are (normalized damage)*1.25*(PvP Power)

1.25 = 25% Arms 2H damage bonus (seasoned soldier)
normalized damage = (base weapon damage) + (3.3 * AP/14)
PvP Power is 1.00 without parachute, 1.0433 with it.

No cloak = 240.3 (299.2)
Miner's = 243.2 (302.1)
Parachute = 250.7 (312.2)

This is suuuuuuper rough, but the difference will be multiplied when you factor in the % of weapon damage your attacks do (MS 175%, Slam 220% I think). PvP Power also scales with the base damage of the attack (x% weapon damage + y) and crusader procs. I think these numbers make 16 PvP Power equivalent to a bit over 20 strength with no sader proc.

TL;DR - Weapon damage scales poorly with strength and pretty well with PvP Power. Warriors are all about weapon damage, so PvP Power is good for them. And this won't matter when 5.4 hits :p.

When i saw your post i'm just wondering why PvP power is so dogshit at endgame and why everybody stack strenght and intel...

str sucks balls as prot dps since ss nerf just stack crit since all the damage comes from the base damage. 5.4 is around the corner and will let u put pvp power on miners cape.

True, pure crit for SHIELDSLAM WARIORS, but I think Baldi's building an arms dps set.

I'm not sure exactly, but its probably because both the scaling and the amount on gems got nerfed pretty hard. It also kinda depends on strength vs. weapon damage ratios. PvP Power gets better with gear, the 496 ilvl cap works against it too.

4% is a lot for one gear slot. I'm pretty sure most tyrannical pieces are around 1%, gems are like 0.4%.

Thanks alot guys, esp. Swoops I think I'll get it. Even if it's just for a few weeks, I'll be playing enough games to justify it. 5.4 is gonna hit when i go back to university so I'm not as bothered about being bis then when I can only play maybe 3-4 games a week. :)
