21 (22) monk

So I've decided to make a monk, gonna start off as horde and then fc to ally. I want to get gear for every spec. I havn't decided wether to go 21 or 22. 21 for better scaling, 22 for Ashen Gloves, Karma, Buff, 14 sta belt and Yorgen's Boon.

But I've made the chardevs as a 22 monk, please comment with constructive criticism If you want you can post your thoughts about the 21/22 question

if you're going to mainly play WW then 22 for ToK is your best option.

otherwise id just stick to level 20 since brew/mw don't benefit much from being level 21/22

Mainly WW, just want the option to change, since I can imagine I will grow tired of that one spec

MW and WW benefit better from 21 and with BM you only lose a tiny amount of stats.

BUT if you want to play BM heavy id go 22 for karma. btw those chardevs look good only thing i may suggest is getting hit cap without chain and getting sador as it procs from barrels, again thats only personal play style

Well if ur commenting my BM chardev, I actually dont need hitcap, since barrels cant miss, just chose a random enchant, but right, sador it is

for WW I would use Broken Fingers of Hillsbrad - Item - World of Warcraft (7 stam 6 crit 4 agi) instead of Naga Battle Gloves (8 agi 8 stam) but thats personal preference, but make sure to pick it up while your horde

Also I wouldn't get engi since in 5.4 there are a lot of new cloak enchants making engi pretty useless (unless you use bombs)

Oh yeah, Feet of the Lynx gives the same stats as http://www.wowhead.com/item=63344 at 21 so might aswell get for the extra few armor and its free too

EDIT: Oh its also worth noting if you go 22, http://www.wowhead.com/item=20429 gives 5 str 5 agi 2 stam while http://www.wowhead.com/item=24118 gives 6 agi 3 stam making WsG ring better (since 5 str = 5 AP)

Keg Smash can miss, and you need spell hit cap for Clash. Using Furbolg Medicine Pouch is a pretty big drop in damage, I'd just go with GSoJ, the BoA Agil staff or dual wield.

Yeh knew about the gloves, but thanks for the head ups about the cloak. Bandit cloak or BoA cloak then?

And are you sure about this scaling? Do u have a 22 monk? And what do u mean that FotL is free?

Spell hit cap is 15 right? And also I'm going for pure CC set, just for premade and fun.

Not that Feet of the Lynx is free but im trying to say Standard Issue Prisoner Shoes give the same stats as at level 21 (9 agi 6 stam) but the level 20 verson gives a bit extra armor so might aswell get that since its free anyways

Doesn't Feet of the Lynx give more armor than Standard Shoes?

And also, do u have a 22 monk, that you have tested these scalings on?

Yeh thought about LFH and the ring after I made it and just cba to change it how did u change my boots?
