24 Shadow Priest (Survival Set)

I'm not sure what the policy is on links, but I have written a guide about gearing for a survival build as a Shadow Priest. The BiS gear I have chosen is all based on being able to put out a good amount of damage, while staying alive. I will be writing a Glasscannon build guide soon.

The guide also goes through a basic rotation, based on what your spell priorities should be as a Shadow Priest.
I would post the guide here, but Google would penalize TI and my blog for both containing duplicate articles.

If you disagree on anything, please state exactly why you disagree and an exact alternative that you would choose. The gear I have posted is NOT BoA items, as heirlooms are very self explanatory. The non-BoA gear though is not "obvious" to a new twink, so this guide is for those people.

your only survival isnt gear its DP. go glass cannon and never lose.

maybe im wrong but isnt promoting other twinks sites or w/e againest ToS? probs wrong since twinking.net is linked below

Not sure if it's against the ToS as my website is not a twinking website. It's a generic gaming blog with a focus on WoW.
I play end game and no longer play twinks. However, I felt like writing some guides for shadow priest twinks.

I question many choices for your "Survival set". For instance, Magician's Mantle over Hann Ibal's Epaulettes all day.

The Survival Set is not simply to stay alive. It's made to have a balance between survival and damage. I wrote this guide as a stand-alone gearing guide. People may want to have a stamina stacked set for running through mids, or with flag, but this guide is for people that want to constantly do damage while being hard to take down.

The trade off of losing 1 intellect, 5 crit, for 6 stamina is going to change the amount of damage they can do. Crit is extremely important, especially for the killing blow 'Devouring Plague'.

Goesid, no idea why you say that. I was a 24 twink for quite a while. I then switched to Disc and did dungeons to level 85, then quested from 85-90.
 
Drayner made his point because you called it a survival set, when in fact you should have called it a balance set. Your choice in wording can be perceived as something different by the majority of players.
