I find it funny how blizzard implements these mandatory starting zones for new races/expansion, but everyone tries to avoid them, because they have 0 replay value, at least for me.

Yes, I played in window mode with the video next to it. Are you at the right spot? At the big tree.There is a cut in the video the tree is to the right. I think I released when the countdown was at 2.

Yes, theoretically, wouldn't make a level 1 worgen twink for example, because people do notice you. I passed through a busy SW once on my way to Darnassus and got lots of whispers and remarks in trade chat. But f you get out just to avoid the quests and then level somewhere relatively quickly, it's worth the slight risk in my opinion.

They won't ban you for this, or do anything serious. This is what you call clever use of game mechanics, and is not bannable. Also, they cannot prove that it is accidental or not, so they have no ground to ban you on. The only thing they can do is delete your character (which is extremly unlikely) or put your Worgen back into the starter area (which is more likely). As long you're not abusing the game you won't get a ban. I have a Worgen lvl 1 Banker for years now, just standing in Stormwind, nothing ever happened.

Blizzard doesn't ban quick, unless it has something to do with serious botting/abuse of economy/exploitive behaviour (Like using a flying hack to fly in Molten Core, never doing that again xD)

i was actually level 2 by the time i got to gs . . you know xp for discovering . . blah blah
but anywayz i actually played around a bit in gs and nobody said anything then i went and lvled to 5 in human starting zone and then from 5-15 i went to the dwarf starting area
and i find it fun to "escape" gilneas , i might do it again just for the giggles

Wrong. This is a bannable offense. I have a F2P account that was banned for "Abuse of In-Game Mechanics"

Really? Strange... I'va had my lvl 1 banker for years now and I know a lot of people who do too. This is the first time I heard of someone getting banned for it. Was it a perma ban or just a few days/hours? Also, did you did something remarkable or something with that lvl 1 Worgen?

How do you get bitten to become a worgen if you leave when you're still human? Just an ability you get at level 6 or 7?

I got a worgen stuck in the starting area but it's like level 12. might try this.

If I remember correctly you get it the instant you res in Sentinel Hill.

The main question is why?
First of all you skiping good ol british downton abbey storyline.
Second you skip good "aoe" fast lvl spot near beach.

So it is actully not very wise to leave start zone.

I tried it once because I wanted DMF Adventurers Guide and didn't have enough time to level out. So this is a good option if you really, really got to get out because you're Anglophobic. Otherwise, doesn't make a whole lot of sense for f2p because you miss out on all the mog swag.

If you wanted to to twink other brackets as a worgen, something like this would be a good option, but having another toon in your party to soak up xp is probably a better option because you could pick up some of the potientially BiS gear, and still get out by level 10 or whatever.

I don't know the name of the event quest, it's the one where you follow the mob around and click the sword to buff the npcs and at the end you attack Lady Sylvanas. I tried it several times on the last worgen and it took like 6 tries to finish it. I wanted to skip it because it's either buggy or I can't follow simple instructions.
