Cant decide, Hunter or WW monk?

Gearing can be quite a pain for Monk, even as a healer; they've no season four gear. Thus they're entirely dependent on PvE gear with sockets ( The vendors at Shattrath being the most reliable source, without being at the mercy of RNG in Sunwell. ) That being said, I'd figure Hunter would be easier to manage given they've a 'default' set to fall back onto. Full PvE is a choice for them, not a requirement.
I've seen plenty of hunters pump out quite a lot of damage. Can't say the same for Monks I'm afraid, besides Mistweaver. In my experience MW dishes out a ton of healing, several times I've seen them topping charts in battlegrounds. ( This is of course, most of them being BiS or close to it. A non BiS would be eliminated quite easily )
Apologies if my opinion isn't very clear, I haven't played either class besides seeing what they're capable of, hopefully someone else can answer better.
