24 Holy paladin gear crit set

Oliks

Check it!
I wanna go for a balanced crit set.. Such as i know i can get Stendels for a bit extra crit, but it's not worth it..
So crit gear w/o the loss of too many stats:
chardev 10 - Mist of Pandaria - BETA

What do you think? Any way i could improve it? (If so, please state howcome)

Why wouldn't you have hotshots and drop mining and herbalism for alchemy 8 extra int which is extra spell crit & skinning for crit since your seeking max crit

overlord's favor neck is best in slot also.

Ty all for the responses..
I'm not going for Hotshots since the price is ridiculous!
The skinning was a major fail-miss on my part, ty.
Probably would have missed alchemy, so thanks a lot for that one :)
Yeah i missed DPR aswell, totally overlooked it, so fail me.. Thanks, guess i'll get a new one tomorrow then <.<, unless a GM will transfer one of mine :)

Updated chardev

Also nice with extra hit from dpr

Thank you, didn't even notice the comment about it..

(As you may see, i didn't spend A LONG time on the chardev :p )

Just remembered i need enginering for mechbuilders.. I'll look into which is better, the mechbuilders vs. heirloom + alchemy pot... Prob heirloom + pot, but would be nice not to think about using pots all the time + bombs are fun

I wouldn't take Alchemy over Skinning in any situation. Skinning will give 9crit, and I'm quite sure that the 8int from Alchemy wont amount to 9 crit. Also, Mech's give 3 more int but 1 less crit than the loom chest. But you'll have to take into account that if you take the Mech, you'll loose the 8 int from Alchemy. So I think the best option is Loom chest + Skinning and Alchemy.

with mixology its like 14 or 15 int which is a nice chunk of spellpower/crit

also why not not just go with alch+engi mats for everything you need are relatively cheap and easily farmed.

Yes, i'll go with loom + alchemy
As you can see here: Item Comparison Tool - World of Warcraft It's obvious enough (i added bracers for the alchemy pot)

+ next patch it might be even better, since you i might be able to put a nice high level enchant on my loom chest

Removing skinning removes 2.09% crit chance, so no :)

Mixology doubles the effect, so the 8 int goes to 16int. But since you can use 8int regardless, Mixology give 8 extra int, which will never ammount to 9 crit. Also, it gives more SP, but the OP is looking for a max crit. Alch + Engi might be easier, but Alch + Skinning is better.

i guess that makes sense :3

i'm just curious but why can't you use the bracers with mechbuilders?

What's the name of the 8+ elixir? Can only find of wisdom which is 6+.
google wont safe me..

Sorry, I messed up there. I mixed up the Agil elixer and the Int elixer. So it's 6 int, and with mixology 12 int. Regardless, it'll still be better. But my apologies for being confusing (kinda late here).

You can't use Alch with Mech's because Mech's require Engi and Skinning is better than Alch.

Like I mentioned before skinning + alchemy benefits you regardless if your ret, prot or holy.

also I like to add good job to everyone keeping forums informative lately. Cleaning up 20-24 forums is always a plus

If the link works you can see that everything is pretty much bis for a crit set. A couple things i would suggest is forget hotshots, its a waste of time and money to campaign to get them so just get hero gloves and put sp on them if you're not healing. Get pve mace and shoulders along with girdle of nobility on you're waist, get one 9 int gnomer ring or maybe 2 idk the calculations. A couple minor things would be prolly get boa cape add a second int trink, make sure you get int bracer and weapon enchant and drop blacksmithing and get alchemy. Oh one more thing dont get engineering if you're only goal is crit, it wont help you gain any of it even with mechbuilders.
I hope my rant helped you little bit!
