TI Points will be use for a Shop on TwinkInfo. In the Shop, you will be allowed to purchase upgrades for your account (username changes, username effects, usertitle effects, donator status, and other options that have yet to be determined).

Right now, the only way to earn points is to create threads and posts.

I hope that clears up the confusion.

The Shop will be ready to go within the next week. I have to create the stock in the Shop and also fix a lot of design issues so it matches the current TI skin.

I will make another announcement when the Shop is ready.

And then we will reset peoples points to zero and take everything away from them. It is very easy to fix accounts that abuse the system.

Will older members who got have made very watched thread get points?
I forexample have my Herald of titans thread with 90k views and other guides n stuff with more than 10-20k+ views

It is not recursive. There is no way for me to go back and give points for threads/posts already created prior to the system being implemented.

Sorry.

interesting feature, just hope it doesnt get abused

Well... you kind of can.

Just run a script to cycle through accounts and their views/threads/posts.

Or just have existing members' points start at their post count.

Will people who already have Donator status be compensated with an amount of T.I. Points of equivalent value? Unless you've somehow found a way to use T.I. Points to pay for the website?

TN has a few decent player, i remember some destromath vs twisting nether premade matches which were pretty much fun

Looks like a cool enough feature but it may bring a lot more unwanted posts.

Well it's a delicate balance. Any site owner wants more traffic and more activity - useful stats to present to potential clients that may be willing to advertise.

However Shane and his team are fairly hands on about curbing abuse... unless it's emotional abuse caused by Purse.

Overall I think it's a good idea /kudos.
