Connection Help?

    • Sorry if this should be on the ask thread but I really couldn't handle the wait. Anyways, I wanted to log on and kill some gnomes today but I can never connect. Its definitely not my internet connection. Help?

    Some clues that could help you:

    -Between the "connected" and the "you have been disconnected from the server" there is a millisecond "error #..." that appears in between



    IDK maybe God wants me to take a break from WoW. Would really appreciate the help. Thanks in Advance :)

    Well, they say always check your firewall but ive never had that be the problem, i guess it needs to be said though lol. If that fails.. do the other old suggestion, delete/reinstall. There used to be a repair tool for wow, but i cant find it these days on windows 8. Anyhow, im sure this wont help BUT on the off chance it does then awesome, haha. Good luck!

    It used to be in the installation folder but that changed. You can find it now in a pull down menu on the launcher.

    I would browse the official forum for technical issues with wow.
     
    i had this issue alot with f2p accounts, try talking to a GM via the web form.

    some times it works sometimes you'll get instant DC'ed a few times before you can log in.

    and ofc delete wtf/inferface/cache folders and do it again.
