It wasn't the gems... It was the fact that there were too few people signing up for bg's after Locked EXP was separated.... I've been waiting for a years now for they to do something about this. I really really miss playing on my 60's. So much love and effort put into them. Loved it more than playing endgame.

I tried to, but it was impossible to get into any games. My battlegroup used to house several big level 60 guilds but as soon as the locked exp was separated a lot of people stopped playing on their 60 alts. Some people, just like me were playing WoW 90% because of the lvl 60 bracket and spent over 90% of our time there. Specifically things went to shit when they counted in classic accounts with level cap as locked experience. After that everything just went downhill. We were hundreds of people that payed a separate subscription, like many of you, just to play on that account. I would think that blizzard lost money by that decision, and a whole bunch of loyal subscribers.
We were a big bunch of people that have been playing ever since classic, and we would have stayed even longer.
