I am gonna try the PTR, and play 'Real WoW' or try to experience it so i just copied and pasted my toon, my hunter is 20, when the PTR is installed and the toon is copied and pasted successfully will he be lvl 90? sorry if this sounds stupid.
Your toon will be level 20; you can create a template of any available race/class combo that will be level 90 and you'll start out with dungeon gear. You can buy PVP armour from the huge Tauren in the top hat you'll see standing on the terrace in your respective town.
If you make a level 90 template toon it should have the max level in enchanting and jewelcrafting, and also have a bag full of enchanting ingredients and gems. You will not have any of the rare enchants though, just the normal one you can learn from the trainer.
That is if you want to see how some of the high end enchants scale down.
You can level up your level 20 hunter on the ptr, but it will be slow going because no one runs lowbie dungeons, and no one does bgs. You can create a fresh 90 and run old stuff though if you really want to see it.
Levelling isn't a problem. I was getting spammed with guild invites and took one to a lvl 25 guild. Faster levelling and travel. Guild heirlooms if you get honored and they have achievements. You get 3000g on the first toon. I went to buy the rest of the bankslots but I was already given them. I leveled to 24 before I got the rest of the duskwood quests done. I got honored by the time I completed the duskwood quests. best part of PTR...
PTR isnt fun as real WoW is. There are no players for low level dungeons and there are no players in queue for lv 90/85 raids. Thats the reason why i hate it!!
I like checking on PTR only the main changes on the game!!
