Shaman Race

what do you guys think the best race for a shaman is? I was kinda stuck between a troll for the haste or a goblin, but not sure, are taurens really viable, the stun is nice but meh

I might be going resto and possible fc, but I might give ele a shot. Just depends on what I feel more comforting to me, since I have no gf gear in leaning towards ele

Well. Here was my logic;

Troll racial is on 3m cd for a duration of 10 seconds. It's rather short and only seems useful for a class like a Druid for a long cast. Plus we have Lifeblood which is good enough in my opinion.

Tauren is definately king in arenas no doubt. Though, in WSG I beg to differ. You're constantly moving and a simple /Stopcasting /Cast Goblin Jump macro is a much superior oh shit button.

Not to mention Goblins have the best base stats next to Bloodelve's on Horde side. You'll be getting an extra 7 Intellect. On top of that 1% racial haste and Goblin Jump. Not much could compete with that.

I don't think that the gender really matters.

Yeah, honestly, I find Goblin to be just perfect for all specs. I can't even number the amount of times Goblin jump came to use while FCing or even when getting away from melee in mid. You can't go wrong with the extra base 7int and .30% crit either . The extra stats and Goblin racials are just too good.

Yeah, I agree. I very much do dislike the way they cast WHILE moving though. Male Goblins have a similar cast which leads me to favor Female Goblins more. Their cast animations is just goofy and it looks really appealing when you're jumping and running around on a little goblins while casting lightning bolts.
