Garrosh's Pardon about to become grandfathered?

What with the 5.4 changes coming, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole chain leading to Dread Head Redemption was grandfathered. Garrosh won't be a friendly questgiver anymore.

Although they might just replace him with someone else to give the quest, I think it's pretty unlikely and the ring will probably be GF'd sometime in the next few weeks.

Yeah he is real friendly quest giver.......be glad i'm not sticking your head on a pike lol

SoO is a seperate instance, so not atleast until the next expansion lands.

I think they'll rework Org so Garrosh isn't there. It wouldn't make much sense anyway for anybody to be inside orgrimmar except raiders and such so they might even move everything somewhere else. Anyway, you definitely won't be able to talk to Garrosh come next patch.

Its possible, they've already added stuff to the barrens and around razor hill for the rebellion, and places like SW were rebuilt for MoP. However i cant think of an npc thats been removed in the middle of an expansion before. However it should be noted that they have removed an entire daily quest hub in the vale of pandaria, so anything is possible. Its more likely that this raid will be phased, and we wont see changes until next expansion.

How can you make assumptions when this change hasn't even happened yet?

It wouldn't really make sense any other way. Also I'm not making assumptions as much as hypotheses.

Interesting. I could see how that would happen but wouldn't it piss a lot of players obsessed with "immersion" and stuff off? I mean the rest of this expansion will basically be based off of the True Horde breaking off from the rest and putting down Garrosh. Not sure I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Anyway if people aren't taking chances on having the grandfathered ring I suggest getting it now.

Lining up the entire 1-60 questing experience with current lore would take a significant time investment that Blizz has said they aren't likely to do. The Cata revamp took a lot of time/resources away from other content and had little value once you leveled through. Going through and removing quests that deal with Garrosh would be difficult and require a total revamp of some zones (Ashenvale/Stonetalon/kinda silverpine etc etc). It'll prob just be turned in to a phased version of him or another random NPC.

That being said, if it were up to me I'd burn the whole quest chain down and have Brutusk piss on the ashes.

they'll probably replace him for some other guy

There's been talk about Garrosh being a raid or dungeon for both alliance AND horde. It is quite possible that this could be a lootable item from him... just saying.
Personally, I think we're moving in a direction that will have horde and alliance working together to make the game much more populated.

CRZ, merged realms, real id, etc. The direction WoW is going in is a direction of 'do anything to keep people not bored / around other players'.

instead of speculating, someone log PTR and find out.
It may be included, but I feel like this is something that may not even be changed in PTR. It's hardly something that affects the masses and even if it DID, it hardly has to be tested. The removal of an item like this does not cause anything to be OP or UP (underpowered). The quest going away won't hinder anyone's ability to level.

If it was turned into a horde/alliance raid/dungeon then I again doubt we will know. At this point, there's only speculation about Garrosh and since nobody has solid proof of removal/changes I can only assume...

- That the changes aren't going to happen yet
- That he'll be temporarily removed until changes later on
- Blizz wants to keep the changes secret

i agree but IF they removed the quest and remade that specific area it still may need testing. otherswise they would of done the testing internally.
